We were immediately brought to our table, then the waiter arrived with the menu and wine list, that is on an I Pad! The food was wonderful, from the appetizers to the dinner choices, which were extensive. Don't miss the desserts, also very good. The pasta was outstanding, pork perfect, tuna sashimi style as first course,soufflé for dessert.Pork belly BLT inbetween, I'm not a fan but my husband said it was very good. But the best dish was fried crunchy wontons we got as app first. Loved them! The chocolate soufflé delicious. Overall dinner was great! The music got loud early for us, so we couldn't finish dinner with quiet conversation. The acoustics not well suited for restaurant, sound radiates. We went to the bar after dinner for drinks and dancing. So much fun, and the age group was perfect for us. I'd say 40-60, just guessing. The calamari was very good and I am not a calamari fan, one of the best I ever had. The dining environment provides privacy and openness at the same time, interesting...
The pasta portions were rather small in comparison to other restaurants. Forget about taking taking any extra home with you.4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMA GEMFrom the moment we walked in the service was outstanding in this restaurant. They were on top of everything. Very guest conscious. The restaurant is beautiful, with a wine cellar table that can be viewed from the foyer via a window looking down. Multi-level with a bar and live music in the mid level. The menus are on an tablet which was great because you did not have to ask for a wine list. Then came the best part, the food, unbelievably good. This restaurant had it all and the dining experience was wonderful.

Only nuisance--hadn't been here in about a year, & since then, they've made the decision to have their menus completely on iPads. This meant a lengthy demo by our server, which really interrupted the flow of conversation at our table, & took way too long. Not her fault--I'm sure she was trained to be very thorough. There's no way of looking at the whole menu at the same time, you have to go in & out of screens per course. We all found it very cumbersome & unnecessary. Too much time with our heads down in an iPad trying to figure out what we wanted to eat, rather than socializing with each other!! I hope they scrap this & go back to a traditional menu. Don't let the negative reviews stop you-four of us had a GREATexperience-definitely not cheap, but you get what you pay for. But, we take our kids to pretty much every restaurant in Huntington (Mac's, Besito, Fado, Buenos Aires, etc.), so our "kid-friendly" means something a little different. I had the Linguine Porto Vivo (Slow Roasted San Marzano Tomato Sauce / Basil) and it was outstanding - i'd go back just for that dish. The homemade pasta was excellent and the sauce was absolutely perfect. We also got the Margherita Pizette, and while it was delicious, it could have come out warmer.
