Portland Seafood Co. - Washington SquareA high point of the day!!We were led to our table by a very friendly hostess. She waited til we were seated to place menus in front of us.
Our server appeared shortly thereafter and was super good. She made suggestions and checked back just enough to enusre that we had a great dining experience.
The food was fantastic! The hazelnut halibut was out of this world as were the risotto cakes.
The seafood salad could have a been a meal in itself.

The way the restaurant organized into small compartments helped to provide some privacy yet enough seatings. I like that. All the food we ordered was good. All the seafood was fresh -- which is very important, and cooked and seasoned properly. The food portion is decent. Well worth the money especially the lunch menu.

The brunch menu was a let-down, but we ordered off the lunch menu and had excellent food. Service was quick and responsive (kept our strawberry lemonade glasses full!). We will return. The second batch was not much better but it was on the house for the trouble.
The sole and salad were very tasty.
