    My prior experience with The Peerless includes intimate dinners and large groups, all of which were excellent experiences. However, my most recent experience, with a group of eight, was less than I would expect from The Peerless. On three or four occasions our waitperson failed to serve ordered items that had been requested. Entrees were served many minutes apart, leaving some of us waiting with food cooling in front of us while others wondered when theirs would arrive. My sense is that the waitperson was trying, but perhaps needs mentoring. Another lapse, presumably by a bartender, was a large amount of sediment in the port wine served to one of our partry. I was embarrassed to have touted The Peerless to our guests in advance of this....More
