This restaurant is right on the highway in Dundee, Oregon and in the heart of Oregon Wine Country. The menu changes often but everything is well prepared and delicious. Service was extraordinarily good for this area. Servers were knowledgeable and friendly and their recommendations were spot on. In the tiny though charming town of Newberg, Oregon, we happened on an exquisite restaurant that absolutely stunned us. It was one of those happy accidents that produced a memory we will have forever. We are foodies and maybe a little snobby, but this place superseded our expectations. Do not miss this gem, but do make reservations. Service was impeccable without being over-solicitous. It was nice to have an intimate fine dining experience in such a charming setting. Pricing was beyond reasonable for a tasting menu. I applaud the chef, wait staff, and owner. All should be proud of The Painted Lady!...More
