Likely we will return. It was your typical steak house. If someone was looking for a good steakhouse to go to I wouldnt hesitate to recommend Prime. The food was delicious. The salmon was some of the best my husband has ever had...high praise! Service was slow, but friendly. The place is LOUD... Better for a group or family than a romantic evening. Lots of young children there...odd for the price...but because of the adjacent hotel I was told. Casual attire on most diners. (typical Portland). All in all, it was a nice place on the "special"...just not the romantic place I'd hoped for on my birthday. The manager did come around and check on diners which was a nice touch. Great for a group who want to celebrate! Had a wonderful, relaxed time. Able to have a couple of drinks as well as an unrushed dinner and still plenty of time to make it to our show.

This was our first time at Portland Prime. The prime rib was very good and the Wild Salmon (Copper River) was excellent. Our waiter (Sean) was excellent. He took the time to go over menu with us and gave us good suggestions. The server was absolutely wonderful and very experienced. We didn't even have time to read through the menu and he already suggested what their best steak was and what wine would be perfect for it according to our taste. He took everything we said into consideration. Food came out quickly and we we were extremely satisfied. The consensus around the 7-top table is that everyone really liked their food (on our table we had a variety of fish tacos, soup, salads, steak, fish, and sandwiches). Some had been there for happy hour prior, but agreed that it is a place that is easily forgotten about unless frequented into dining out routine.
