"I have never been disappointed with my meal or service at Portico! The "steak fajita wrap" (for lunch) suggested by our server (who had tasted it earlier), which came with a side of soup or salad was awesome!!! We were served and eaten within 50 minutes! My friend who had never been there before thoroughly enjoyed the food and ambience."

"We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the dinner entrees. Our group of four all had different entrees and we were impressed by all of them. However, I don't think they desserts are up to the same quality of the food. The restaurant is steps from the Bay at the Eaton Centre and in the bottom of the Cambridge Suites; location doesn't get much better than that!"

"Portico continued to impress us from the moment we walked in to the pleasing decor (we would like to know where you got those chairs), to the excellent service and delicious food. My party of six each enjoyed their meals commenting on great taste, unique use of flavor and perfect portion size. The desert was divine. Most importantly, they made my sisters birthday and family reunion special and a night to remember. I could not have been more satisfied with my restaurant choice. It is now a must while I visit Toronto."

"We went there for Valentines dinner, the ambience was excellent with dimmed lights and decent amount of rose petals spread on the floor. Parking is extremely cheap at $ 5 after 6pm until next morning 6am if u considered this is a downtown location. We ordered 1 Valentine dinner and 1 Sea and Turf. The bread and appetitizer were great, the main dish was a bit salty at that night (espacially the shrimps and the steak, looks they salted it two times) . The dessert,the coffee was great as we liked them alot. When we done, the reception has gave my wife a free rose which was great for the valentines. Service was good but not excellent as there were only 2 waiters to covers the whole restaurant that night. We waited quite amount of time to eat."

"A friend and I went here during Winterlicious. The food was absolutely delicious and served quickly. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Loved the decor. Would definitely recommend this restaurant."

"It's not a very busy restaurant - even around 8PM. Then again, it was a weekday. The server was very attentive and funny. Rene was his name! He gave good recommendations and was very polite. The food was surprisingly good - even as left overs! So you know that's good."
