Thought that was weird since the form does ask Is this a special occasion. The sprawns I had were tasteless. An owner/manager came over to ask how everything was and I did tell him. He right away said I could order something else, and by that time I had eaten more than half of them covered with butter so I said no. My husband had a pork chop that he said was ok. He would have gotten it well done as he had said medium and it was a little red.
It is hard to say if we would recommend this place to a friend since there are other restaurants that are cheaper and there food is just as good. I took a chance by going to Porterhouse,and boy amI glad I did. We had a fantastic meal. The service was efficient. I can't say excellent because our server was rather stoic. She did a great job but could have been a bit friendlier. That alone would not stop me from going back, Infact, my relatives liked it so much we are going back this Saturday night, the last night they are in town. Mandy was our waitress, She is beautiful young women that treated us like family (in a good way). She had everything covered and always ready with a super smile. There were 6 of us, that get together only a couple times a year, so we stayed for 3 hours.
This is a great restaurant with wonderful service and delicious food.
