Poor Calvin'sInventive Thai Southern cuisineCalvin will take good care of you with his creative menu of fusion fare.6/12/2013 12:00:00 AMBirthday dinnerGreat seat on the 'porch' next to open windows bordering the street. They had a batch of their special vodka ready...if you get a chance to try this, it's worth it. Vodka soaked for 3 weeks in various fruits, served as a martini - excellent.
Started with a complimentary veggie wonton appetizer, which was nice. Ordered the crabcake app - good, but not great, could have a little more crab.
Seared scallops were outstanding - cooked perfect, served over mixed veggies with a nice asian sauce. Cheese grits on the side were good, made us wonder how it would work under the scallops.
Taro root cheesecake with oreo crust was very good. They added a complimentary chocolate martini, which was excellent and a nice touch.6/8/2013 12:00:00 AMFinally authentic Thai FoodI have yet to find authentic Thai food in Atlanta since House of Thailand closed. The massaman and pad thai were incredible. Soft Shell crab appetizer was divine. Excellent service, great drinks and quaint surroundings. We absolutely loved it and had a fantastic experience. My only advice would be to get rid of the meatloaf, lobster mac and cheese and similar dishes,,,all these other dishes just seem to make the menu confusing even though they may be good. Go for the thai and you won't be disappointed.6/2/2013 12:00:00 AMAnOpenTable and iDine Great Find!!Again, a GREAT Find on OpenTable and iDine BOTH!

We were sat in the enclosed balcony/porch with the street view. While the view wasn't great, the decorations, and candlelit ambience was great! It was a little difficult to understand our waiter due to his heavy Tai accent but he was very nice. The food was AMAZING!!! Will definitely return with our best friends to have them enjoy dinner with us.5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMFood tasteful and ample quantities.Food tasteful and ample quantities. I have already been here TWICE in two weeks! I absolutely love this place. The vibe, bartender, waiters are all pretty awesome and the food is AMAZING!!! Definitely a must try and I do not say that often. I had Panang Curry on my initial visit that was excellent and that lobster mac & cheese, tho?? Laaaaaaaawd! Best I've ever had, locally. I can't say enough about this place and the cocktails are STRONG! Yaaaaaaaasssss for awesome heavy handed bartender. I love it there. On my second visit, I had the "North meet the south fried chicken" another pleaser. Definitely make reservations and check out this place. The Crispy Beef was tender and had great flavor. The Fried Chicken with Lobster Mac was good too! (see photo's on Foodspotter)
The only drawback is what many reviewers say - the neighborhood....
It is tough...

We sat at the bar and enjoyed James' company and creativity as he made us excellent cocktails with all natural ingredients and his own infusions. I had the delicious coconut soup and spicy meatloaf with onion rings and Tequila gravy, so good! My fiance had the crispy beef which he says he gets at every restaurant and this was by far the best one he's ever had! I will definitely be going back because they were out of the coconut cake and all the regulars were raving about it so, I have to try it!
