Poor Boy's Riverside InnAwesome food and service!!I have been dining at Riverside for a very long time. I do not like gumbo BUT I got a cup with a dinner and decided to give it a try. The seafood gumbo is the BEST I ever ate!!!! Its seasoned perfect, roux is just right and stocked with seafood. I wish I had the recipe. My favorite dish is the lumb crabmeat. It was superb! Giant lumbs of crabmeat smothered in butter...who wouldnt like that??? By far, this is my favorite place for cajun/seafood. The waitress was very attentive and polite. Food did come out a little fast and she apologized but it was so good, it didnt matter. Will be back!6/15/2013 12:00:00 AMThe food was absolutely wonderfulThe food was absolutely wonderful as usual. Everything was hot, fresh and served quickly. The only thing that exceeded the food was the wonderful service we got from the young lady who waited on us (I don't recall her name).5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMFood was excellent. This is twice this has happened to me on a special occasion. I realize you had no control over that but wonder if there's some way to know when this will be a problem It's over an hour's drive to your place.3/24/2013 12:00:00 AMIt's worth finding this restaurantIt's worth finding this restaurant which is off the beaten path....it has an interesting setting and you feel like you are getting a total dining experience. Our server was really sweet, recommending we try a remoulade dressing for our seafood salad that was more suited to the dish than our original dressing choices. Casual atmosphere and lots of locals who have been dining here for years.3/15/2013 12:00:00 AM
