"Small restaurant but has delicioud food. The crispy tuna appetizer was delicious. Ordered the mussels entree and the broth was amazing! Thier homemade tiramisu was great, nice and light. Will definitely return."

"French with a Senegalese accent. Gotta love the 2 for 1 martini deal. You can get two plain ones if you ask. Super appetizer special of grilled octopus on arugula and white beans. Huge, perfectly roasted veal chop special on a tasty red wine reduction. And they didn't hesitate a moment to substitute more veggies for the potatoes that I don't eat. If I lived in this 'hood I'd be there weekly. Will definitely return to try their tagines."

"Reserved a party of six on a Friday night at 8:00. Always a tricky time Yet, we were seated within 5 minutes.
The wait staff: professional, friendly, quick, but not rushed, and knowledgable of all the menu items.
Drinks were strong, & properly mixed. The wine was very good. But the food beat all expectations.
Try the artichoke appetizer. The artichoke was shaved into slivers, and lightly dressed. Delicious.
The entrees were so good, conversation stopped. I had the Boulliabasse. The best I've had in this town since Quatorze 20+ years ago. A friend ordered the lamb, and offered a taste. Silky, rich, wonderful. As was the sea bass. A perfectly cooked steak kept another friend smiling through the whole meal.
Profiteroles for dessert!"

"Our second trip to Ponty Bistro was disappointing. The first time, on a summer evening, our food was fantastic. So many flavors and food cooked wonderfully. This time, a winter Friday night, our food had no flavor. Not sure what happened. Maybe the kitchen was super busy, but our meals were disappointing given our expectations of repeating the fabulous first try. Oh well. Maybe three times a charm. We'll try it again."
