Drawing our inspiration from the countries of Greece and Italy, we tempt the palate with three separate menus (Lunch, Dinner and Sunday Brunch) of diverse and innovative dishes using the freshest and finest ingredients. Pomodoros is a full service restaurant that provides an extensive wine list, a full bar, catering, and friendly service.

Our three distinct menus reflect our commitment to providing only the finest fresh ingredients. Our cuisine pairs regional traditions of Greece and Italy with the diverse culinary talents of our chefs. "The basis of each dish is always in the tradition of the region, but the ingredients guide the way to new delights as well as old favorites."

Pomodoros uses only the finest oils that have zero Trans-Fats and are not partially hydrogenated.

  • "Empty restaurant,first warning sign,server new,second warning sign,heavy garlic in ALL dishes,third warning sign,manager when questioned about garlic in all italian dishes,where none are called for anywhere else,including italy,was told this was america,and proceeded to try to embarrass us.Final warning sign!!! I dinned here twice several years ago,and it was good. Empty restaurant explains and confirms my rating.Worst restaurant experience ever. Warning stay away!!!"

  • "Treated a friend to a birthday lunch. We both had the half portion of the Pasta Athena and it was the perfect size. For my side, I had a cup of their Tuscan Bean Soup with Spicy Sausage and Kale which was fabulous and my friend had a Greek salad which she raved about. Thoroughly enjoyed it and will certainly go back."

  • "My wife and I dine here regularly and always have a great meal and dining experience. She loves the 4 cheese lasagna and Greek salad. I am the adventurous one and try different menu items and specials and I have never not enjoyed my meal. This trip I had the mussels fra diavolo appetizer, Greek salad and farfalle pasta with seared scallops in a red pepper cream sauce( sorry I cannot remember the name) that was awesome. The service is always outstanding and we have never had room for dessert."

  • "Went in to take advantage of the $10 entree special, still ended up paying $40 for two people. Pasta was not quite done, or may have been ever so slightly over done, but the overall flavor was good. The salad was good, just enough dressing. But I would have liked to know if the dressing applied in the kitchen or if that is something they have rehear. "

  • "Had not eaten here in over a year. I had special of day Blackened Wahoo wrap. It was delicious and well prepared Just like the Carribean. The Lemon Caper sauce I was glad was put on sideas it would have overpowered the natural favors . My friend had the Turkey wrap which she enjoyed. Will definitely return and recommend "

Service was good at first, but no refills were offered on drinks later in the meal when they were most needed. I would have thought that with reservations we would have had seating somewhere other than the booth closest to the kitchen."

  • "We've dined at the east Asheville location several times and enjoyed it. But, Long Shoals was a big disappointment. 45 minutes from food order to table. The server's explanation of delays added to our frustration - "the kitchen is busy" (I walked the room - only 1/3 of tables were occupied on a Saturday night) I asked for the manager - twice. By the time we were served, our appetites were spoiled. Next day, out with friends, I heard similar complaints - ""hit or miss" seemed to be a common refrain. My advice is "miss it"."

  • "I love Pomodoras but this time was terrible. We were seated right on time. However it took 15 minutes before a server came to our table. It then took another 10 minutes to get a glass of water. We got appetizer not long after this but we sat forever and still did not get our salad. After setting at the table for 55 minute and with all the table around us being messed up by our waiter, we left money on our table to pay for the appetizer and left. I hate to say it but service at our favorite place to dine was terrible."

  • "We eat at this Pomodoros probably 10 times a year or more and have never been disappointed in the food or service. Our most recent visit was on Valentine's Day and they were about four times busier than normal and that reflected in both service and food--but not enough to complain (at least for a regular). Our server recommended that we up our usual meat doneness by a stage from medium rare to medium for the lamb and it turned out closer to medium well. He noticed it immediately and offered to take it back, but the flavor was good, the restaurant packed and everything else was totally up to par. At the end we ordered a coffee and it was cold. He knew it and it never showed up on the bill. This is a classic steady eddy."

They are promotionaly minded with email contact which allows us to visit more often than a budget with two teenagers at home would normally allow.
