They did not have my reservation. I wanted her to check to make sure because I wanted to earn my 100 pts. She never checked to see that I had a reservation through Open Table. I didn't need the reservation because no one was in the restaurant. NO customers. Too bad. I think there is little knowledge of Polish cuisine in Colorado. Would do better in Michigan or Chicago!

Polished Tavern seems mostly a drinking spot so far. We arrived for a saturday night pre-theater dinner at 6pm, and while the bar was hoping, there was no one else eating. Even when we left 90 minutes later, there were only a handful to tables having dinner. The food was strikingly authentic Polish -- our table had keilbasa on sauerkraut with bits of bacon in it, cabbage rolls, goulash, and polish meatballs, along with a sampler plate of Pierogis. If you like this sort of thing, you will be happy. The infused vodkas were sort of a kick -- we had garlic (which stayed with me for hours), jalepeno and black pepper. Polish beer was also a nice touch. All in all, a welcome addition to the Denver dining scene. We'll be back.

Nothing special about this place. Very loud and not a place to go to enjoy a conversation with friends. The traditional Polish food had been too Americanized. Menu options are limited and nothing exciting if you are looking for real Polish food. Plus side...they have good Polish beer.

Disappointed in the ambiance. This place serves hearty Polish food in a Modernistic atmospere. Seemed ontradictory to me. Also the sauce on the cabbage rolls looked like a glob of tomato paste. The food and the atmosphere did not mix. The waitress did not mention Wed nite happy hour with infused vodka. I thought that she should have mentioned this. The pierogis were delicious!

While the food and infused vodka was sublime, the service was abysmal! Fresh made pierogies were heavenly (tried the potato/cheese and the meat). Kielbasa and sauerkraut appetizer was amazing. Wait staff was pleasant, but extremely slow. We will definitely try it again, since the food was so good. Reasonably priced - infused vodka shots only $4.00.

We went to the Polished Tavern, during Denver Restaurant week, for my birthday. We made reservations and selected our meals from the special restaurant week menu. The Polish dishes were great and the flavor infused vodka drinks were very good and reasonably priced. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. My husband ordered flowers for me and they were delivered to the restaurant earlier. The staff took good care of them and brought them to our table, which was a nice surprise. The restaurant's decor was very modern and attractive. The music was an enjoyable selection for our liking, although it could have been just a little quieter. Overall we had a great time and we will definitely go back.

Food was very good. Much different than the normal menus. We like to try different restaurants with the 5280 this one worked out very well. We will return to try some of the other items on the menu.

Great Polish food, but the menu needs help. The English is difficult to figure out...i.e. savory meat pirogis. What kind of meat? What are pirogis? Also, strawberry sauce in a sugared egg yolk. What can that be? Waitress tried to explain, but had to return to the kitchen to find out.
Food was tasty and there was lots of it....
