Polaris GrillWonderful WalleyeOur group of 9 was easily accommodated by the staff, and everyone enjoyed their dinners. I ordered the Walleye Almandine and loved it! The only negative was that the zucchini risotto contained peppers (I don't like them), and the consistency was very soupy, much like Spanish rice without tomatoes. However, my husband shared the generous portion of garlic mashed potatoes on his plate, and I was happy. His twin beef tornedos were prepared to perfection. Polaris Grill easily fit our group. There is a private room available with a $400 minimum purchase, we chose not to ask for the private room but really ended up with it anyway. The room is setup with 2 long tables to handle 2 large groups at the same time but there was not anyone at the 2nd table when we were there. Prices are reasonable and everyone said their food was really good. The restaurant can be seen from I-71 but is a little hard to get to since it is behind a hotel and some other restaurants which seems to mean they are a little less busy then surround restaurants. Today I tried the banana cream pie for the first time. We had a party oif six, and our table was nice and roomy, which is very nice. The restaurant got busy after we sat, down, was still not made to feel rushed, or harried.

My friend and I opted for the Brunch menu on a Sunday. Given the quality of the food, I was very surprised that there were not more people. Although my friend and I chatted for 1.5 hours, we were never rushed. The chatting did come to a standstill when we started eating - it was that good. The prices were reasonable.

We were seated immediately and the assortment of items was excellent. This will probably be an annual Easter tradition.
