    For PODs 1 and 2 (seating for between 6 and 9 guests) there is a $420 food and beverage minimum.
    For POD 3 (seating for between 8 and 13 guests) there is a $625 food and beverage mimimum.

  • "The food was fine and the service every good,but the restaurant is rundown. The tables and chairs are worn and dirty, being fair because they are white plastic they are getting that old look like outside furniture gets. The bathrooms were really dirty and we were there at 5pm when they opened for dinner in a Saturday. If I went back I would just sit at the bar, in all fairness they had an excellent margarita and the best chicken pot stickers."

  • "Three of us went on a Saturday night and had a terrific time. The blood orange cocktail was amazing and all of the dishes were outstanding. We ordered off the gluten free menu and particularly loved the rainbow roll. In fact we ordered it twice. Service was capable and friendly. The atmosphere is fun and festive. I would love to go back with a group and eat in one of the special pods!"

  • "Have heard about POD for years and I am soooo glad I found it! The menu is fabulous. Lovely choices, great presentation and fine wine choices. The hostess was welcoming and service impeccable. The music played over the speakers was way too loud and temperature a bit too cool to be comfortable. Both an easy fix. The prices at POD are a bit steep, so this lends to a special occasion outing and one I cannot wait to have."

  • "As usual, the food at POD did not disappoint. Our wait-staff was very good, attentive, and knew the menu inside and out. All good there! Everyone in our group was extremely satisfied with our meal. The only annoyance was when we arrived 10-15 minutes early. The place was not busy at all, only around 30% full. The greeter (?) at the front would not seat us, she asked that we go to the bar and order some drinks. I suppose that's what Pod's management asks them to do? Anyway, we sat in a general seating area for 10 or so minutes, and were eventually seated. From there on, we had a great night."

  • "We went here on St Patrick's day hoping it wouldn't be too busy. It was a good assumption. nice crowd but easy to sit at the sushi bar. Staff was great. Food was too. My only slight disappointment is the smell. It always has a pervasive fishy smell. I do not notice this at other sushi restaurants so I don't think it has to be that way. Every time I walk it in, it hits me like a wall."

We introduced Pod to former Philadelphians (now Rhode Islanders) who had never been and they were quite impressed. Presentation of food and pacing of meal was quite good, although tables are small for the family style service recommended. Wish there were a Pod on the Main Line! Nectar is too noisy and not as dependable."

I spoke with a woman who informed me they would present mochi with a sparkler and she would be sure to note this request on the reservation. Upon arrival the hostess asked if we were celebrating anything and I stated a birthday. Needless to say, we never received the mochi-sparkler. Also our waiter asked if we wanted to start with edamame which we agreed to but never received. And the bus boy was way to eager to remove plates we were still working on. This happened on multiple occasions."

  • "After an initial snafu with our reservation (when I checked in separately from my friend, no one let me know my party was already seated, so they asked me to sit in the waiting area which I did for 10 minutes until my friend called me to ask where I was), the evening went well without further incident. Both the manager and waitstaff apologized profusely about the mixup and paid for our drinks on the house. The waitstaff is superior here. Knowledgeable, efficient, and appear happy to be there. Policy must be that no matter if it's your table or not, ask to clear it off right away. We both got a fish entre, and I got the sea bass, which I am crazy about. We began the meal with the crab spring rolls (another favorite). POD is a favorite!"

The bar tender was extremely professional, friendly, and knowledgeable as I had many questions about the drink menu. The wait was brief, and we were escorted to our table. The waitress was prompt, energetic, and genuine. She was also well versed in the menu items and was happy to answer questions. Service was fast and friendly. The drinks were always full, and the food was fantastic. We ordered the edamame, Japanese salad, crab fried rice, kobe beef, caterpillar roll, rainbow roll, and molten chocolate cake for dessert. Fresh, quality ingredients expertly prepared."
