  • Cross Street: 3rd Street
  • Public Transit: Poco is 4 blocks away from the "F" stop on Houston and 2nd Avenue. If you ride at the front of the train you will get off at 1st Avenue and Houston. Walk East 2 blocks and turn left and walk North 2 blocks. You can transfer to the F from the 6 train on the East Side and from the A,C, E, 1, 2, and 3 on the West Side.

Restaurateur Sara Grizzle (formerly of Redemption Grill and Essex) and Food Network’s award winning chef, Abe Lopez, have teamed up to create a bright new spot in Manhattan’s East Village with the best Tapas ever plus other small dishes. The menu offers a taste of everything and accommodates every food preference, meat eaters and vegans alike. Serving Tapas lets a group mix and mingle. With a great wine list, a good selection of tap and bottled beers, as well as some of the most interesting cocktails around (try the Ginger Mojito), Poco is the perfect spot for a quick drink and appetizer, dinner, or a place to wind down after a hectic day.
The food is original and fantastic (Mac & Cheese & Lobster) and as well as a good price performer appealing to budgets of any size.

Our server was great, but nearing (and not exceeding) our time limit we were rushed out of there. Two different people came in succession to tell us to 'finish up' when we hadn't even received our check yet and couldn't leave if we wanted to. Our server was apologetic when he finally came with the check, but the rush job at the end managed to sour my overall brunch experience."

  • "So happy to have discovered Poco a few months ago. They've got the best small plates in the East Village! The fried asparagus, mushroom croquettes, octopus and the lobster mac & cheese are all to die for. They also have the most amazing "house special" sangria made with St. Germain and blood orange. Do NOT pass this up. The food and service is both exceptional. A fun place to go with a group of friends or just as a couple. It's got a lively atmosphere and they've got a dj on the weekends. I highly recommend making reservations if you are going on the weekend as it tends to get crowded by 8 pm."

  • "I was staying a block away and found this place on googlemaps. I came for the all you can drink brunch. It was fabulous. I got there right when they opened and sat at the bar by myself. It got busy fast, so I would suggest making a reservation. The bartender was amazing. Great recommendations. The steak sandwich was delicious. But the endless mimosas were what made this place AMAZING. You can have your choice of mimosa, bloody mary, or red or white sangria."

I know sliders seem like bar food, but they do something special here....get them!! You won't be disappointed!! There are a few mac and cheese options- we got a truffle mushroom one which was so good!! All in all, the food and service were excellent, and it has a great ambiance. It just gets a bit crowded and they need to do a better job of managing their reservations.....but I would go again and highly recommend it!!"

The food is a tapas menu, and we ordered the butternut squash salad which my husband said was excellent, the skirt steak with chimicurri sauce was amazing. Very tasteful foods. I would definitely come back and try more food on the menu. The service was slow, which was a negative because it is a small place, but was very busy. But the taste of the food was so good, it made me forget how long I waited for it."
