  • "I went with three other people. I sampled each of their appetizers and dinners. Every single thing was fantastic. I consider myself to be rather critical of foods and I had no complaints whatsoever."

  • "This restaurant is a gem. The food was perfectly prepared. My wife and I both had fish and the meals were prepared creatively with the freshest of ingredients. The service was impeccable. They were attentive without hovering. Honestly this was one of the best meals that I have had. Will go back many times."

  • "Had a girl's night out - Po Le's is a BYOB and the food is fantastic. Highly recommend the seafood linguine - the smaller portion is a good size portion - save some of the bread they give you to dip up all of the white wine garlic sauce! Definitely a neighborhood gem. Very busy on the weekends. We went on a Tuesday night and was surprised how many others were dining out that night. Also save room for dessert. Crème brulee and the raspberry tort are so good."

  • "This is a little Italian restaurant unassumingly tucked in a strip of other stores but it has outstanding food. The owner/chef used to work at another place down the street where I'd always loved the crab pasta, but he has made this spot his own. Excellent appetizers (lobster & asparagus), soups and pasta dishes. Not a pizza joint, so expect to pay higher prices for the quality. Not at all crowded when we went for lunch, but expect to wait for dinner if you don't have reservations."

  • "Warm and welcoming atmosphere. Food was outstanding! Seafood pasta and duck pasta dishes were wonderful, and portions were generous. Looking forward to a return visit."

  • "Have been here 4-5 times and am consistently impressed with the food as well as the service. The staff couldn't be nicer and more welcoming. They are very attentive without being annoying. The food here is great. I love the pasta with duck ragu and everyone at my table did too. The seafood risotto is also a star. They have full and smaller portions so you can choose to meet your needs and budget. The prices are also very reasonable!"

  • "Great BYOB restaurant. Food is so good. Always good specials. Atmosphere is nice. Chef and service impeccable. I have been there numerous times. I will return. Love the seafood dishes."

  • "Loved it when it was Nina's and now we love it more. Been twice and food was consistent and very good. Basic Italian menu with a good variety of fish specials each night. Had Blue Point oysters each time as a special and they were delicious, Chef Po Le has done an excellent job of putting together a great staff and creating a fun neighborhood restaurant. BYOB is a plus in my book!!!!!"

  • "This was my 2nd visit to Po Le. The first time it was superb! Despite the many appealing options, I had loved the lamb chops so much, I couldn't resist ordering them again. The last time they were the best I had ever had. On Thursday they were fatty and not very flavorful. The Ceasar was drenched in dressing. Its croutons were huge, tough, toasted chunks of unseasoned bread. Dessert however, was divine--a perfectly baked chocolate souffle with a warm gooey center. A marvelous finish to a mediocre meal. Perhaps it was just an off night? I don't know. I do know though, if this meal had been my introduction to Po Le, I would not be returning. It was so outstanding on my first visit however, I'll probably give it another try."

  • "Went with two friends, all three of us ordered a fish entree. Two were very buttery and one was fishy tasting. Everything on the plate was buttery. We felt cramped the way they sat 3 people. The service was slow, we felt like they forgot about us. Will give it another try but will not order fish!"

  • "We wanted to check out this restaurant with it being so close and really liked the setting. It reminded us of a place we had been to at the North End in Boston. Great food and very good service. They were very accomoating with the BYOB and brought the food out at a perfect pace. Intimate setting but not too cramped. Hope they stay in the neighborhood for a long time!"

  • "The food is good, the service nice and the desserts are great. Be aware, however, that the list of specials is very long and tempting on the weekends...and while most entrees on the menu are in the $25 range (pasta dishes for less), the specials cost $35. Prices on specials are not disclosed in advance--it's a great way to increase the cost of the check."

  • "Po Le can be tough to get into for dinner so we went for lunch and the food is just outstanding. We had been to San Marco several times so knew of Po Le's cooking but it's nice to go to his own restaurant that's BYOB. We can't wait to go back."

  • "First visit for our group of 4. Everyone loved everything and I can't say enough about the service. Best food I've had in a long time at a local restaurant. The Chilean sea bass special was outstanding (2 diners). Veal and lobster ravioli were excellent. Appetizers (Caesar salad, tomato soup with crab and caprese salad with avocado) were wonderful. Portion size was perfect. From the bread to the dessert - not a thing to complain about. Our servers were outstanding - so nice and so concerned that everything was perfect for us. Owner came by twice. And we saw that they treated everyone like that. My only wish is that the place be larger!!! And that I had known about it sooner!! We will all be back. I wish I could go back tonight!"

  • "Went for the third time and just as happy as I was the first time. LOVE the pasta with duck (have had that all 3 times) and split the seafood risotto this time as well - also wonderful. Calamari was very tender and nicely crisp. Service is friendly and helpful. Really happy to have such an enjoyable place so close to home!!"

  • "Wonderful meal, upsale dining experience. Chef was friendly, personable, greeted each table and is clearly thankful for the word of mouth business! 12 tables, exeptional and knowledgeable service, able to help with meaningful recommendations. Lobster bisque was full of generous pieces of lobster meat, clams casino bare no resemblance to old fashion breaded mush, they were fresh and tasty. Bread was crusty warm and delicious. We had the Veal Osso Bucco and the homemade Gnocchi with bolognese. All pastas are house made and the gnocchi was soft, silky and absolutely perfect. Osso Bucco was tender, flavorful and hearty. Chef has 30 years pastry experience and the tiramisu was fantastic! A hand crafted, delicious and special meal!"

  • "We dined on Super Bowl Sunday - that was a good call. I was told that the place is usually packed and you really should reserve well in advance. Small (quaint) BYOB. Simple but elegant with linen on the tables. Chef Po came out to greet and welcome us - for that matter, the entire restaurant staff was warm and friendly. Our waiter was knowledgeable and competent. . Food was delicious. I'd go there again."

  • "This was my first time going to Po Le after we received a gift certificate over the holidays. The food was exceptional! We ordered an appetizer and entree off the specials and my husband ordered an entree off the dinner menu. Everything was so delicious I don't think you can go wrong. Very fresh tasting. The service was great and very attentive. It is definately a place we will be visiting again soon."

  • "All I can say about this restaurant is, they are going to need a bigger room. Not so much because it was cramped in their rectangular dining room, but due to the fact that the place is very popular and will only get more poplular. The food was quite tasty and well prepared and the staff was very pleasant. Clearly, the owner and chef has emphasized the friendly approach to his staff. It also seems that each member of the staff is acquainted with the Chef who has obviously hand picked them. His attention to detail shows through and makes a visit to the Po Le Cucina a memorable one."

  • "The executive chef from San Marco in Springhouse moved and opened his own restaurant. The food is very similar and excellent at fair pricing. Service is performed by a young staff. Very polite but need a little polishing. Make reservations before you go. Only take phone reservtaions on the weekend. An excellent local haunt!!!"

  • "Po Le Cucina is out of sight! The food was amazing. Being Italian I am very picky and I have to say - I was blown away. I am so happy to have it in the neighborhood! Besides the amazing food, the staff was courteous, solicitous and attentive. The only issue, of course, is the space. It is way too small esp for some of the long rectangular tables. Tight squeeze for sure. Still worth a trip though! This is my new "go to"!"

  • "Had an excellent dinner. Place was pretty much full by 7 o'clock on a Thursday night, so the good word is definitely out. Food is top notch. Went with a party of four, and all appetizers and entrées were truly outstanding. Waitstaff very eager to please and personable. Met the chef who is incredibly sweet, which added to the positive experience. Will definitely be back."

  • "We were a group of 5 who ordered a range of entrees and appetizers and each of us was delighted. From the pasta and risotto to osso bucco, swordfish and lamb each perfect in it's distinctive way. The calamari appetizer is recommended - perfectly cooked and tender. The chef made the rounds of diners a couple of times and was attentive to his staff."
