It was our first time at Plumsteadville Inn and it was fantastic. There are great rooms for romantic dining, family friendly dining, outside dining and also for a lively bar experience.

We had a romantic dinner in one of the more formal dining rooms and it was quite pretty. Our service was excellent, efficient and friendly. Food was quite good, and an excellent selection - from casual to fine dining. Reservations were handled perfectly, and we were greeted immediately upon arrival. Bar was full of patrons talking and laughing. Outside area was full of patrons enjoying happy hour and a D.J. Children seemed to enjoy the place too! Quite nice, and not "stodgy," like the old restaurant of 5 years ago. TRY IT OUT!

Ordered chicken marsala and did not think marsala wine was used. The chicken tasted very odd and bitter....not the way marsala should taste. After dessert I ended up in the bathroom with terrible intestional distress and had to remain there for a lengthy time. At this point , think I was served a BAD meal.

Although the food prices for lunch entrees was a little high considering the small amount of food, the the restaurant is comfortable and service is good. The food is not exceptional, but there is a decent variety. Sitting on the porch is especially nice.

Different rooms for different moods. You can sit in a room of windows overlooking the courtyard, the bar has booths, the tavern has hard wood floors, a fireplace and televisions, and the formal dining room is a little quieter and fancier. Good food! WE LOVED OUR WAITER......THANKS SHEEN!!

Versatile ! Great for large groups! The restaurant has lots of little alcoves that are perfect for groups of 8 or 10. The entertainment in the bar is great. Booths in the bar have individual TVs to tune into your favorite sports event ... this restaurant is the best of all worlds. Sports bar, elegant dining, music in the bar, meet a friend for lunch... it covers them all!

Restaurant was open on Mondays which is why we chose to try it. Waitress was very friendly and she would stop every time she was in the area to ask how the food was and could she get us anything. She was very attentive to us and that is good customer service. The food was very good and cooked just right. We will definitely return.

We heard great things about the renovated Plumsteadville Inn and decided to go there for my birthday. I had no expectations other than I just wanted to go to a new place. We were pleasantly surprised. The table we had was perfect for us, service was great and food was excellent. They also catered to my 17 month old daughter who seemed to enjoy the ambiance and experience just as much as we did. A band came on as we were walking out which was also nice for folks at the bar and people dining late. The fire-pit table on the patio looks awesome.

First time at the restaurant. Choose the have a friends 50th b-day there. Liked going on-line and arranging the reservation/selecting table. Upon arrival, table was ready and we were seated immediately. Server was responsive to my party needs and attended to all the guests requests. There also was a performer playing a guitar while singing, he made the event lively. Would do it all again at The Plumsteadville Inn.

This is the best local restaurant my wife and I have found in the last five years. The food is great and the prices are reasonable. The formal dining rooms are always quiet but the dining room by the bar has enough flat screens that I never have to worry about missing the game. We've eaten dinner here well over a dozen times and have never been disappointed. We had brunch here one Sunday and that was excellent as well.

Have been to Plumsteadville Inn many times and have always had great meals and service, however making reservations though open table this time was a mistake. We were a large party and we're seated right in front of the kitchen door. I was afraid my tall friend was going to be hit in the head as the servers came out the door with their large trays. I will good back, but next time I will call and make my own arrangements.

The Plum has a great menu, lots of delicious choices. Their Sunday brunch is extensive, their beer menu is great, and there is nothing like sitting in a high-backed wooden booth. Feels like you're in your own world! Service is friendly and there are some great small rooms for group events. I've been to two group events and it was great. Even their catering service is wonderful---great service and HUGE portions. Love, love, love the Plum!

Despite reservations, we waited nearly 30 minutes for a table while people coming in after us with reservations for same time as we had were seated first. We continually asked why and they said 'your table's taking longer to finish and be ready'....we said we didn't reserve a "specific" table and just wanted one in the dining area, not the bar. Once we were finally seated, the meal and service were very good.

We visited on Valentine's evening for a romantic dinner for two. My wife can be a picky eater, so I was excited to find a place not limiting us to a Valentine's Day menu. We were both able to find a selection of soups, appetizers and entrees to our liking. I am all about seafood, and my wife can't stand it, so there were options for us both. There was live entertainment at the piano. He was a decent performer, so no complaints there.

I scheduled a reservation through OT in my car in the parking lot then walked right in and got my points and had an amazing meal! My 5yo daughter and I had awesome food and great service. Brunch and lunch were both available. The brunch choices (including desserts) were incredible, though we chose to order lunch from the menu. Excellent service, very spicy bloody mary (yum!), INCREDIBLE wild mushroom bisque, and a steak salad. The vinaigrette dressing is creamy and unique, and I LOVED it! They also have TV's at the tables with their own remote controls at the tables near the bar. We turned ours off, but it was a cool option, especially if there are sports games on.

Although we usually like eating in the bar at one of the comfy booths, the restaurant was absolutely packed (a good thing), so we agreed to eat in formal dining. The atmosphere was great. There was a musician playing in bar area, and although he was good & not too loud, it was better to eat in the quieter adjoining dining area. (Great that the music did not travel too far.)
