A word from PJ's Restaurant in the Atrium

Pj's is a student run restaurant in the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management at the University of Guelph. Each day features a brand new menu and theme as created by the student groups running the events. Open again for the Fall on September 29th. We'll be running lunches Monday thru Friday… and we're looking forward to a great semester! Continued

"Waiting staff was exceptional as was the food. Well described and very very tasty and fresh. Loved the combination of entrees and appetizers and the dessert trio was amazing. Wine and sangria were also a great addition to this Spanish themed meal. Loved the tour of the kitchen. These cooks and servers will do very well in their future jobs!"

"First time with Open Table experience. Atmosphere was nice, not overly noisy and tables were perfectly spaced so that you didn't feel like you were on top of each other. Restaurant is just a nice size to give a nice ambiance and the touch with the tree & lights gave each table the feel of begin someone a little romantic. Service was excellent though having multiple servers was a little overwhelming in the beginning but no complaints about their professionalism. Food was a little disappointing for me...Lemon scallops were a little tooo lemony and the paella seemed to lack flavour. Soup was good though I am not a bisque kind of person. Second offering with deep fried pastry and ground beef was good and of course, desserts were excellent"

"Our 2nd experience at PJ's was disappointing - the entree (bruschetta) was 'sold out' - we made reservations at 12:30 to avoid having food run out for us (the first time around we made reservations for 1:00 and the meal we ordered was also 'sold out' at that time.) That was disappointing. And just because you asked, I asked for coffee and was delivered a drink - normally I would have taken the drink but it was a cold day... I'll still go back, but my friend won't...."
