A word from Pizzeria Seven Twelve
There is no mistaking the heart of the restaurant when you walk in the doors. Our wood burning oven stands proud. A promise of good things to come. Using fruit-wood we are able to keep the oven at temperatures upwards of 712 degrees. This temperature is optimal for creating the perfect pizza.
That heat combined with the best flour in the country give us the foundation on which we build beautiful pizzas. Local farmers & producers help us with the finishing touches. Thoughtfully prepared appetizers, salads, & desserts plus panini on housemade ciabatta are all part of a constantly changing menu. Of course, this is all apparent the moment you sit down & start to eat.

First time there, it was great.
The salad was great and the pizza was great. Our daughter and husband told us how great it was and it was."

Pizzeria 712 is a one of few truly
exceptional restaurants in the whole state of Utah. The best thing about 712 is their dedication to using REAL ingredients that are produced locally wherever possible. Nothing is canned or frozen, ever! This dedication is responsible for living menu, one that is always changing due to what is in season. Someone new to pizzeria 712 must understand that they are not going to get the thick, heavy traditional American style pizza here. This pizza is designed to show what real food tastes like. It is about quality of ingredients, taste, and presentation. There are very few casual, cost conscious eateries in the state that can match the 712 experience. You will not find better pizza anywhere in Utah."

712 was, up until a year ago, one
of the better restaurants in Utah, serving the best pizza and arguably the best appetizers in the state. Those days, however, appear to be over. Over our last 3-4 visits we have witnessed a restaurant in decline, and our last trip might have been our last. We can no longer justify the drive from Salt Lake for pizza that is not just no longer remarkable, it's no longer all that good. Too many ingredients, overcooked, sloppy. Our appetizer was the worst we have ever been served at 712: soggy carrots and soggier parsnips in a bland but exceedingly abundant honey sauce. With new competition in this same space, 712 needs to up their game or become irrelevant."

Both my wife and I found this
dining experience to be less than satisfying. The food had an odd taste to it and was not evenly cooked. Definitely not the right place if you are looking for a really good pizza. They were also out of some basic things like olives and certain types of beverages."

Pizzeria 712 is a welcome relief
from the glut of franchise fast food on Orem's State Street. It's freshly prepared, locally-sourced menu did not disappoint. My friend and I enjoyed impeccable service Thursday night on a quick break from a local film festival and were able to book a table online and receive prompt, friendly service. The ambience was pleasant and we could easily converse over our gourmet salads and a shared pizza. The pizza crust was thin and perfectly cooked, the toppings were unique and delicious. I wish we'd had time to stay for dessert...but we'll do that next time (and there will definitely be a next time)! Thank you for a beautiful dining experience!"

Unbelievable pizza. Best crust,
sauce, and toppings. Locally sourced ingredients. Menu changes seasonally to take advantage of the freshest ingredients. Just the best pizza."

This was my first time at Pizzeria
712 and it was great! Probably the best pizza in the Provo/Orem area. Went with a group so we had the chance to sample quite a bit of food. The roasted root veggies were probably the meal highlight. The Gouda mac and cheese was great too (I love mushrooms). For the less adventurous, the tomato/basil or soppressata pizzas were a safe option, but much better than your average pizza-place pie. We liked the red potato/leek and sun-dried tomato pizzas. Our favorite, though, was the butternut squash. Perfect combination of flavors. Highly recommend. Ingredients on all pies were high quality and dough was just a little (pleasantly) sour. Overall great!"

I've been to P712 several times.
The food is always excellent, with fresh local ingredients combined in creative ways. Best pizza hands-down. Good beer and wine selections, too."

Our server made it very clear to
us early in our visit, that he was not pleased with us and our service suffered because of it. Was it because we didn't order any drinks? Was it because we brought two people unannounced to our 2-person 5:00 dinner reservation even though the dining room had more than enough available seats? I don't know, but we didn't get our main courses until over an hour after our arrival. And then we were hurried, rushed. Bills were dropped on the table, no dessert was offered. He was visibly annoyed, but I really can't fathom why. Too bad. And whoever you are, we're on to you. The whole "You look familiar, I've seen you in here before, we're buddies" when we haven't been in in years..... I got that twice, nice try."

Loved Pizzeria Seven Twelve.
Delicious pizzas and the Mac n Cheese was awesome. Service was great. I would definitely recommend and will return."
Dined on 11/29/2013
I love to go here any time they
are open. Fresh, arty food in perfect amounts. Ambience rocks."
Dined on 11/16/2013
Great food, good vegetarian
options (the butternut squash & pesto pizza was fantastic). It's a smaller restaurant, which I like. It's nice and cozy for a date, and not too loud. I was glad we had made reservations--the wait otherwise on a Saturday night was about an hour. The online reservation system worked well, and they called me earlier in the day to confirm. I've eaten here several times and have never been disappointed."
Dined on 11/16/2013
My hubs took me here for my
birthday dinner at my request. It was fantastic. The food was so fresh and light. They started the meal with fresh made pita and hummus, which was delicious. I was concerned about the service, which I had heard was not the best. Our experience however, was great. Our server was friendly, attentive and helpful. I am eagerly suggesting this restaurant to all my friends! Such a nice change to the overwhelming amount of chain restaurants you find out here."
Dined on 11/9/2013
I went to pizzeria 712 for the
first time and i was on a date. They had a unique food selection that was great, and gave us plenty of time to talk. The only thing that could have been better was if it wasn't so cramped and busy, but i guess that's what i get for going on a Friday night."
Dined on 11/8/2013
The food was wonderful! I will
back again for the braised short ribs and polenta. Great service as well. Plan to spend at lest $50 for dinner for two before the wine. That's little more than we normally spend so we will save this Pizzera 712 for special occasions. I can see us going back at least a few times per year."
Dined on 11/2/2013
We love Pizzaria 712. I'm a picky
eater, but I've never had anything here that wasn't delicious. Even when there is a sausage emergency (like there was this weekend) and the pizza we planned on couldn't be made, our second choice pizza was outstanding. The waiter was kind and helpful (not quite as attentive as usual, probably because it was a busy Saturday night) and always attended to our needs quickly. We will be back again soon."
Dined on 11/3/2013
The food is incomparable. The
service superb! The facility wonderfully unique and pleasant. This is one of our favorite restaurants and we will be back, to celebrate, to relax just to eat wonderful food not available anywhere else in Utah County!!!"
Dined on 10/29/2013
We have been fans since the day
they opened and they NEVER disappoint! The small plate appetizers are what we usually go for, but the pizza is fantastic too. They wait staff is always fantastic, and they seem to look for ways to make the experience that much better for its patrons. The UC is often a wasteland of culinary refinement but Pizzeria 712 along with Communal are rare exceptions and we are so glad we have them!"
Dined on 10/24/2013
Pizzeria 712 has been one of my
most favorite restaurants in the entire state for quite awhile now. The service is always impeccable and the food is, without fail, perfect. They use local, seasonal ingredients, and the menu is changing on a regular basis, so ofttimes you won't have the same thing twice! Anything you order will be really delicious."
Dined on 10/11/2013
I don't get down to Orem very
often but when I do, I love hitting up Pizzeria 712. They use simple flavorful ingredients and do it up right. Another great wood-fired pizza place!"
Dined on 10/5/2013
A nice surprise. The pork belly
appetizer was exceptional; as good as what we have had in five star restaurants Very good pizza. A limited but intelligently designed and fairly priced wine list. Enthusiastic staff."
Dined on 10/5/2013
We were passing through town -
found it on the web - booked a table online.... and WOW - such good pizza and salad. Memorable food, really. Service a little slow and stiff - but it seems new and will improve, I'm sure. Excellent food - did I say that?"
Dined on 8/18/2013
The food at Pizzeria Seven Twelve
is fresh and unique. Except for a few staple items, the items on the menu change every once in awhile because the restaurant has a real chef. If you want safe but fantastically delicious choices, go with the Braised Short Rib for the appetizer and the Speck pizza. You can't go wrong with these two choices. Sitting at the bar is a treat because it allows you to watch the kitchen prepare the dishes."
Dined on 9/15/2013
My wife and I love to come eat
Pizza here. It's always fresh and original pizza. This is a little gem for the city of Orem."
Dined on 9/10/2013
Pizzeria 712 is wonderful! I have
been there twice and both times were great experiences. Fresh local produce, hand pulled Mozz, Wonderful variety of tastes, the wood hearth oven is fabulous. The dining area is small so there is a lively activity level and an attentive (but not overly) serving staff. Medium price levels - not little children convenient. Make sure to have a reservation, even if you call to go spontaneously as the tables are full."
Dined on 9/1/2013
The noise was so loud I could not
carry on a conversation with the person across the table from me. The food and portions were average or below average, the pizza crust was burned a fair amount around the top. The bottom crust was not done. The sausage was dry, crumbly and had very little taste. Our waiter was more interested in a large group than a party of two. 4-5 people brought us different parts of our order. Until I hear different, will not be returning. Over priced, to loud, portion size problems, and a general attitude that ....you are just so lucky we are here for you. Don't go on crowded Friday or Saturday night."
Dined on 8/31/2013
GREAT AS ALWAYS! We love this
place and will continue to come back on a VERY Regular basis!"
Dined on 8/18/2013
This is truly my favorite
restaurant in all of Utah county. As a cookbook author and a food blogger, I am not easily impressed, but Pizzeria 712 always impresses me. Whether it's their exceptional service, impeccable pairing of unique ingredients, overall quality and presentation, or creativity in new dishes (particularly their desserts), I always leave happy. I love the intimate setting, and love to see the familiar faces of the staff when I arrive. The servers and hosts are knowledgeable and helpful. It's obvious they love the food and their jobs---a great sign the restaurant is exceptional to its core. Oh, and I also may just have a little crush on Stephen, the head chef. ;)"
Dined on 8/18/2013
The less than ideal location for
Pizzaria 712 hasn't kept it from flourishing in downtown Orem. No doubt, this is due to its unwavering pledge to bring fresh, local food to its customers in a hip and tasty fascination with flavorsome fare. Every experience there has been a delight."
Dined on 8/5/2013
Food was delicious and left me
wanting to come back again and again. The service was great and we will be back!"
Dined on 8/4/2013
I was seated immediately, but had
to wait for a while before a server came to take our drink order. By then we were ready to order food. Later he brought the bread, but still not my drink. Then we got out pizza but still not my drink. the guy who dropped the pizza off was a different guy and he didn't stop to talk at all. I had to wait until our normal server finally came and asked him for it. He brought it, but forgot that I'd asked for no ice. It was also not refilled very promptly. That aside, the food was very good and it didn't take too long to get it after we ordered, and the servers were quiet, but friendly."
Dined on 8/3/2013
I'm not really big on pizza, and
my husband almost dragged me out to give this place a second try. I had been to Pizzeria 712 soon after they opened and swore I'd never go back. I'm so glad I did! What a change! The pizza was outstanding. The flavors were different from any standard fare, and the crust was perfect. I had a salad with bleu cheese dressing which was light and very savory. Now I will go back again and again."
Dined on 7/28/2013
We go to Pizzeria 712 pretty often
and it's because the food and service is consistently the best. The menu varies seasonally so there's always something fresh and new to try and it's always good! I have never once been disappointed leaving this restaurant."
Dined on 7/27/2013
Service and food were good. The
temperature inside was hot. The menus are hard to read. Pizza was delicious. Salad looked wierd..."
Dined on 7/10/2013
My husband and I love this place
but it's not chuck e cheese leave your kids at home. I have kids I know how hard it is find a babysitter and all but for the sake of those who have gone to that effort just don't bring them it's not super kid friendly environment. It has a bistro feel, very small and not a lot of room for the kids to run wild. My only complaint here is of the other patrons because the food and service is amazing as always. My kids are foodies and well behaved and older and still I don't let them go please can we just have one kid free zone in Utah county"
Dined on 7/2/2013
Good service but limited menu.
Would have enjoyed more selection. Food was good."
Dined on 6/26/2013
Fantastic food, responsibly
sourced, and the friendliest waitstaff we've come across in a long time. We love this place, and go here every time we come to Provo! (Literally--EVERY time)."
Dined on 6/25/2013
We ordered the gnocchi (best i've
had), a watercress salad (very good), and two white cheese-based pizzas. If I were to do it again, I'd get at least one tomato-based one for variety. While the food and atmosphere was great, they seated a couple on their first date RIGHT NEXT to us when there was plenty of room to space them out away from us. This is one of my restaurant pet peeves. I'm not sure why they feel like they have to put people right next to each other when there's room to spread out. We were out for a father's day romantic dinner and we had to listen to the awkward first date. It wouldn't have been bad if we had space to have fun with it (a la Date Night) but if we said anything more than a whisper, they could hear us as well."
Dined on 6/16/2013
Excellent in every way. Seasonal,
simple, local and wonderful service. In addition to the pizza, I highly recommend the noquis and bread pudding."
Dined on 6/15/2013
Always great food. We go about 2
times a months and its the only place that never disappoints us!"
