  • "Wayyyyyyy too noisy! Loved the creative menu, mwith a myriad of choices. Healthy options along with the others. Our waitress was a gem. The notice was an issue for us."

  • "We saw a documentary on WETA on Washington DC's best pizzas, and so we found you. Excellent pizza!! We will be back."

  • "This is a family friendly pizza restaurant. Interesting combinations. They will build you anything you want. There is parking under the building so don't think you need to sit on the street."

  • "Was there a few weeks ago and went again tonight. Great food, dessert.....wine, apps, and service. Make reservations."

  • "A pizza was missing an add-on ingredient so the chef made an additional pizza to go home with us! An unnecessary gesture but greatly appreciated! Great good and service! Will most definitely go back! Lived up to our expectations."

  • "Not a fancy place, but clean, spacious. Very good pizza, excellent service, I wish I had asked the server his name so I could give him credit! Made some good recommendations, which we liked."

  • "I hope you keep your menu as is and overall ambience. If you try to cater to each and every person out there, you'll loose what you got going. I wish you continued success. My family and I really enjoy your food, service and ambience. Also, I'm very glad that you are 5 minutes away from our home :-) best regards, Mona p.s. maybe- only introduce couple of pizza and pasta dishes that are gluten free for many sensitive people out there."

  • "To be fair, I am a pizza snob. I make my own pizza using Kettle Pizza and I am willing to travel to find truly good pizza. Pizzeria Orso is a strong #3 in the area, behind Pupatella and Two Amy's. They have a great wood fire pizza and they got the crust absolutely perfect with just the right amount of char. We ordered two pizzas, one of course was their DOC to see how they compare with the other DOC pizzas in the area. While their pizza was very good, it is #3 on the list as I mentioned. However, Orzo does come in WAY ahead of the others in terms of their other offerings. They have a great beer list, tons of good sides and awesome desserts. We also loved eating outside and the restaurant is not nearly as cramped as the other two."

  • "Our pizzas were excellent...three different kinds and all to our liking. The person who made our experience SO nice was our waiter, John. He was friendly and accommodating and flexible, making it a thoroughly enjoyable evening."

  • "A group of friends and I went for brunch - we truly did not have a good experience. Our waiter was completely unattentive and did not know the menu. The place was quite empty. It lacked ambiance or even a clear design. The food was so greasy it was almost inedible."

  • "Noisy restaurant.. service spotty.. but great pizzas.. its worth the annoyance to get their pizzas!!"

  • "We've been going to Pizzeria Orzo for years. The food is consistently good and the service is always friendly. A small, but notable beer list including both local and import craft brews. The highlight is the stone fired pizzas. Highly recommended."

  • "Not the world's best pizza, but pretty well up there in the rankings. The crust has a great flavor and texture. Calamari appetizer was light and tender, but I didn't care for the aoili sauce; marinara next time, not just for the calamari but also for dipping the pizza crust. We had the multi-meat pizza and enjoyed it thoroughly. My only complaint: I wish this place were closer to where I live!"

  • "Novice server made several mistakes including charging credit card twice. Pizza still great."
    Dined on 6/5/2014
  • "As always, to me the pizza is the reason to visit. The dough is chewy with just a touch of sourdough flavor. The toppings are fresh and abundant. Service can be spotty and the prices are a little high on appetizers and desserts (latte too). All in all, a good high-end pizza like you get in Italy."

  • "Great spot to go before (or after) shows at the Creative Cauldron. Good food and drink! Show them your ticket or program and get a nice discount as well."

  • "So delicious, and the awesome pizza is only part of the menu!"

  • "Back to Orso after a while and new options coupled with standards made for a great meal."

  • "The best brick-over pizza anywhere, but so much more than "just a pizzeria". Small plate offerings are phenomenal! Lamb bacon sliders, Brussel chips, wild boar agnolotti, not to be missed! "
    Dined on 4/27/2014
  • "I love the pizza at this place. The crust is chewy and just has a slight flavor of sourdough. The toppings are fresh and well thought out. The wines pour by the glass is a bit skimpy for the price."

  • "We went for Easter lunch. The pizza was fantastic!! We also had the sweet rolls with bacon.. YUM!"
    Dined on 4/20/2014
  • "This is our favorite spot for a nice meal, perfect beer, and conversation, only problem is that its popularity means it is always full. While I see many couples here, I would not call it romantic. It is a place for the family, to pull up an extra chair and enjoy a great salad or your favorite pizza cooked to order, to try one of the chef's specials with a glass of fine red. Everything from the kitchen and bar is perfect. Even our pickiest eaters, everything on the side, substitutions, etc, always receive it right. We will continue to go back."

  • "Fairly good and everything written up in the paper such as brussel sprout chips and gnocchi were fantastic. The rest was decent but not amazing."
    Dined on 4/9/2014
  • "Table of 6. Multiple plates per person. Main course for one person not delivered, obviously forgotten. Then after reminder delivered after everyone else was done, so sent back. Still appeared on the bill. Removed after discussion. Draw your own conclusions."

  • "This is our go to place to eat in Falls Church. Everyone loves the food, including my 10 year old. The pizza is some of the best I've ever had and the small plates are to die for. I love anything to do with Brussels sprouts !"

  • "Best pizza that I've had outside of Italy. Crust and sauce was light, and the mozzarella was very fresh. Definitely would go back and recommend to people."

  • "This is the best pizza I've had outside of Naples, Italy. The margherita is very similar to what I had there. We had a server who appeared to be new and he had trouble keeping up with the number of tables he had. He took our pizza orders without writing them down, put them in, and then realized he had forgotten my wife's order since he came back to ask. Of course, 3 of the 4 pizzas arrived at the same time and she had to wait. Fortunately, the oven is so hot that the pizzas bake quickly, so her wait wasn't too long."

  • "Fantastic selection of appetizers and incredible pizzas!"

  • "My wife and I love Pizzeria Orso! We tried neapolitan pizzas across DC and many are very good, but this is the best in terms of taste and texture. The crust is perfect - pillowy soft with just the right amount of crunch. On Thursdays they have a buy one get one half off deal so we got the DOC margherita and Diavola with pepperoni. The sauce is so flavorful. The other dishes are amazing and this time we got the crispy brussel hearts, which are smoky and sweet. A lot of places are serving good brussel sprouts these days, but nothing like these gems, which come piled on a wooden board straight from the oven. Finally, get the lemon nutella donuts!"

  • "I love the pizza at this restaurant. The crust is thin yet chewy, with just a taste of sourdough. Toppings are fresh and generous. As with most casual dining, the low prices bring in a large crowd and, of course, pizza means lots of families and noise. The tables are a bit closer than I like, particularly when everything is full on a weekend."

  • "The truth is, I have been an Orso fan for quite some time. I've been here for several birthdays, with 2 people and with groups of 15+. Every time, I am more than pleased with my experience. Great good, great service- who could ask for more?"

  • "Staff are all super friendly. They have specials and happy hour deals that can help you eat on a budget, or you can splurge on small plates worthy of fine dining. I prefer the simpler stuff but the small plates are really great. The pizza is Excellent! We love the salad packed full of Italian cold cuts, olives, grilled veggies, and cheese- makes a wonderful pairing with a pizza. The meatball sub is nit what one would expect, but way better, with a pita-like envelope of pizza bread holding the most luscious meatballs, aged grated hard cheese, and grilled lettuce (which sounds weird but is delicious)- it comes with a simple salad, and is so filling that I don't mind my kid always steals a some (fair- I eat his pizza, as it arrives first)."

  • "Once again, my daughter and I enjoyed our experience at Pizzeria Orso. I tried the "Smashing Pumpkin" pizza, which offered a creative and tasty combination of flavors. We also took advantage of the Happy Hour prices for appetizers and house wine. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. The food came out quickly and was delicious. When we saw the line that had formed when we left, I was happy that I had made a reservation."

  • "I've tried many items on the menu and have never been disappointed. Everything is fresh. Flavor combinations are unique and excellent. The atmosphere is pretty low key. A great place for families."

  • "This is a great little restaurant in Falls Church! The food is really awesome and the staff is great! The only thing I would warn some couples looking for a quite dinner is that most Fall Church goers love to bring their children there. The times that I've been there that there are children, it is loud and sort of off putting. This restaurant is right down the st. from me, which makes it a great convenience, however I have found myself not wanting to go with my fiance because of how noisy and loud it can be with other people children there."

  • "Our first time there and we will return. Five of us so we tried a variety of items, including appetizers, pasta, entree' items and two pizzas. Nothing left. The Neopolitan pizzas were excellent. I only wish they located in Great Falls."
