  • "Pittsburgh Blue is truly a high end dinning experience. The entire meal from start to finish was awesome. I highly recommend the scallops appetizer. It comes on a piece of Texas toast, with bacon and a hollandaise sauce...divine. I then had the peppered ribeye with the blue cheese topping. My table also shared the famous blue hash browns. Everything was the best I have ever tasted. Kudos to our server Lisa who also made our dinning experience wonderful. Expect to pay more then a regular night out, but well worth the cost."

  • "We had a lobster pasta dish and the sea bass. Both were tasty. The mushroom and spinach gratin was very rich. It is unfortunate that the portions to share are so large for just 2 people. The service was really good and very friendly."

  • "Everyone that worked with us went UP AND BEYOND they are exceptional at their positions. I don't like tables (not private enough for me) I forgot to ask when booking for a booth and so I mentioned it to the hostess as we walked to table she was very accommodating and did so pleasently which really makes a difference. It was our 18 yr anniversary so I appreciate her doing that. Great food great service!"

  • "Waited over 15 minutes to be served a drink after the server acknowledged that it was not a particularly busy night; he told us their computer system was being “cranky”. Served stale bread; the manager apologized and said it must have come from the “bottom of the bread bowl”. Really? Shrimp cocktail; clearly frozen shrimp. Just terrible; still had that dry, frozen taste. Atmosphere/lighting was just depressing. We eat out just about every week, and I frankly cannot remember the last time a dining experience was this completely terrible. The server and manager apologized for the issues I mentioned, but it seemed like everyone was just going through the motions; I had the feeling they didn’t want to be there any more than I did."

  • "Prices would suggest a much higher end experience than you will find here. Food 3+/5 at best. Ambiance similar to that you would find at other chain restaurants. I did let them know in advance that this was a birthday dinner for my wife and they brought out a nice cupcake at the end of the meal--a nice surprise. Fine restaurant if you're looking to have a burger, but if you're looking for a higher end experience I'd recommend looking elsewhere."

  • "The steak was awesome...especially with the horseradish sauce. We also had the twice baked mashed potatoes...great! Could've used a bit less blues cheese on the steak wedge salad,but it was mild, so that made things bearable. Not cheap, but well worth the price."

  • "This was the first time we had gone to Pittsburgh Blue and I know we'll be back. While the noise level was a bit more than what we would have liked, the atmosphere and service made up for it. Our waiter was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The only minor complaint was the staff was a little too quick to clear dishes. We had received bread before dinner and were going to save some for during dinner. The staff came by and cleared our bread plates and butter knives. When our dinner arrived, we had to ask for additional knives, which wasn't a big deal."

Although there are a variety of food and drink selections to choose from, I always order the short rib nachos because they are absolutely delicious! Since I'm not much of a carnivore, I've even ordered the short rib nachos in lieu of an entrée."

  • "We had prime rib, cooked to perfection, hash browns were crisp and brown a bit greasier than we like, bread was light ,fluffy and the crust was excellent, broccoli was fresh and done perfectly. Key lime pie was good large piece big enough for 2. Waitresses were friendly and efficient, we ate at 5pm so not overly busy, noise level was at a minimum not 5 or 6 noisy radios, tvs etc like some places."

  • "Noise is simple loud. We know that but went early and asked on the reservation for as quiet as possible. We were seated in a booth right at the dining room entry, door to outside and by a table of 14. There were tables on the other end of the dining room that would have been much better. Food remains consistent. They just seem to cater to the large expense account crowd."

Meh, steaks were tough and chewy and didn't get the requested booth (booked a month in advance) This last time we took my boyfriends mother for her bday/retirement and it was awesome! Our steaks were done perfectly and our Great server made the meal that much more special! Love the place but it's expensive... Good for that very special occasion but worth it!!"

  • "Celebrated my husband's 65th birthday. Started at bar with great happy hour specials. The bartender was engaging and fun... and made excellent drinks. Then moved to a table for dinner. Our waitress was very friendly and very knowledgeable of all food/menu items. Her timing between courses was exceptional. One of the best waitresses we have had in a long time (anywhere). On top of that, the filet mignon we both ordered were perfectly prepared, tendor and delicious! We will be back"

  • "PB has always been one of our favorite restaurants. We were disappointed to see the corn crusted Sea Bass was no longer on the menu, that's what the two of us were hoping to order. I opted for the Pistachio crusted Walleye instead. Food items are a la carte for the most part but the Sea Bass used to come with asparagus. The Walleye filet had a heavy coating that I found too have too much heat. I'm not sure if it was cayenne but it overpowered the fish. My husband had the crab stuffed shrimp which was OK but slightly underdone. Even the onion rings had some heat. Overall, we were not impressed with the meal and we ended up spending over $100. Just not worth it this time."

The restaurant is elegant and service is very high quality. The food was excellent and prices are within expectations for a steak house. I have never had bad service at this restaurant and appreciate how friendly everyone is. Great restaurant and fabulous addition to chain restaurants in Maple Grove."

  • "I made reservations for a special occasion. I didn't appreciate being seated in row seating and not a private table. We didn't realize how much food you get when you order vegetables, the waiter could of informed us that one order would be enough for two people. The table was to small for our food. The noise level was ridiculous, couldn't hold a conversation without raising your voice. If I wanted to see dishes while I was eating I would have gone to a cafe'. All of this would be null and void if we were at Denny's, but this was a $200 meal. I won't go again for a party of 2 unless I can figure out how to get better seating in a quiter spot with a private table. We were not givin a choice of seating when I made reservations."

  • "The ambiance and environment are very nice, the service is very good but I feel the food is no better than an Outback Steakhouse and costs far more. I have attended this restaurant many times in groups and for special occasions, but I would never return with just my spouse or family. The food isn't there to make it worth the return. I have been at Steakhouses where the steak is good enough to warrant a return with my spouse or family."
