  • "First time eating here. The first impression was good. A little noisier then I had expected, but it was busy so was not too be unexpected. Our server was exceptionally professional and patient as we mulled over the menu as it was the first time we were able to look it over. I had the steak and my wife had the steak and lobster. We were both impressed with the food, a solid B+ to A- and I am a very though critic. Would recommend!"

  • "We came back from brunch here after dining a while back. I got the same thing that I ordered last time which was at the recommendation of the server. The Prime Rib benedict is one of my favorite meals for breakfast/brunch in the twin cities! Also, the Churro's before your meal are also pretty great -- feel free to ask for extra's! Coffee is great, our server kept the mug filled at all times. Would highly recommend this for Breakfast"

  • "We went here for a double date. Our server, Brittany, was AWESOME. She was super informative and just as passionate about their wine list as we were. I have some food sensitivities, and without hesitation she let the kitchen know and helped adjust my order so I could eat it! Also, my steak was cooked perfectly! Wonderful place - great staff - excellent server (Brittany!) - fantastic food."

  • "While visiting from out of town, dined at Pittsburgh Blue-Edina. While I cannot speak for other locations, this particular location was not a good experience. Too many small details to list, but at this price point, my recommendation is to try elsewhere. OK, so one example: At the end of our meal (dined with my wife of 26 years), the server asked if she should put both meals on the same bill. If you must go, please do not order Mac-n-cheese. The most confusing mess I've ever tasted. BTW, I had bone in NY strip that was cooked to order, but again, nothing to write home about."

  • "This was our 3rd time there and will be going back. Food is very flavorful and comes hot. Warm buns awesome. None of the people with us on all 3 occasions were disappointed in any of the food. They all raved about it. Portions are great. Great waitress and service. It was cold and we asked them to turn the air conditioning down a little, which they did, so was comfortable."

  • "We chose your restaurant because it's become a birthday spot for the group of three of us. This visit was totally underwhelming. I made the reservation via Open Table and my other "host" for the birthday guest, called earlier that day to offer an alert to the birthday occasion. Nothing was ever made reference to that event or request. Additionally, our server was pleasant enough, but the timing of salads was off [too long] and one of the three steaks we ordered arrived without the peppercorn sauce, and was over prepared. Yes, it was redone, but the birthday overlook followed. All in all, not up to the standard that we expected. Ironically, our visits take us to Maple Grove for some of these events. They, overall, are more consistent."

  • "This was our first experience - not sure why that is - at Pittsburgh Blue in Edina. We were greeted right away and taken to our table immediately. Within a minute or two we were greeted by our server, Cindy, and cocktails were ordered! Our food was perfect and I'm in love with their loaded mashed potatoes! It was a great way to spend our anniversary and we'll be going back."

  • "We had prime rib and a filet. The food was quite good overall. Chef missed just a bit on the getting the filet to medium, as it was more medium rare and my wife said the prime rib was not better tasting than elsewhere. But the evening was more was still very good and our waiter, Mark, was excellent and more than made up for the shortcoming of the kitchen. Prices are not for the faint of heart, however."

  • "The food here is always excellent, just don't expect to get for under $50 or $60 per person. Know that it will hit your wallet but it's not an everyday place. Filet Mignon is always wonderful, the shared appetizer sampler was even better than I expected. One of the ladies in our party couldn't decide what she wanted to order so she was taking quite a while. The waiter handled it beautifully, suggesting that we eat our appetizers first while he took away our menus so we could focus on our conversation and enjoy our appetizers. Then he brought back ONE menu for my friend and we all ordered. I loved not being rushed! Great place for an upscale dinner without pretentious servers! :)"

  • "Were celebrating an anniversary. Shrump cocktail for our appetizer was wonderful as were our salads. When the filet came it was too salty to eat. $36.95 for 2 bites. Our server offered free desert which we would have gotten anyway for our anniversary. I went for steak...not free cake. Never saw a manager. Will not be returning anytime soon which is a shame because this was our celebration spot."

Great food, great service, we had a ball. Perfect timing with all the service, even thought the place was packed we never felt rushed. Our steaks were cooked perfectly and all the sides were delicious (I'm still enjoying them as we took some home!)."

  • "We were greeted by two friendly smiling pleasant front of the house persons. The one who seated us informed me that she had read my special request which I placed upon making my reservation and would be honoring it. Our table, in a busy, noisy restaurant was in an alcove off to the side where we could visit more easily but were still part of the restaurant ambience. The wine list was extensive and reasonable. The cocktails were classic and perfectly prepared. Appetizers came hot and were perfect. Steak was prime and done to perfection. The lobster tail was hot, served with drawn butter, and was sweet and tender, not rubbery as can be the case with lesser establishments. Hash browns with onions were top of the line in all respects."

  • "We love the food there and we have a well behaved 8 and 10 year old....they joined us and that went well. It is an upscale restaurant so I did get frustrated with the family behind us that had their toddler running around be their table and ours....making a lot of noise.....not really little kid friendly. The only down side here is the noise level....it is very noisy so if you are at all hard of hearing I would choose another restaurant. But if you are like us and want an energetic feel then this is a good place The food was perfectly prepared and delicious as usual. The service is always top-notch. Very happy with the meal overall.....we will definitely be back"

  • "I had to send my steak back 4times before they prepared it the way I ordered it. Server was great about it, but the manager was rather snotty about the fact that they had to redo the meat. The first time it was sent back, they charred the outside of the steak as if the cook was upset that they had to adjust the steak thereby ruining it."
