We had 6 people at a round table which was crowded with drinks and appetizers. The noise level was very loud, felt like I was yelling to talk to the person at the other side of the table. Otherwise, liked the atmosphere."

  • "And I would love to sit somewhere other than in front of it. This was our second time at this location in a few months and both times we were in front of the kitchen. Next time I hope to sit somewhere else. Other than that, it was awesome... our waitress, helpful and attentive; the food amazing and done to perfection; and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. We will go back again for sure... if for no other reason that to sit away from the kitchen."

  • "My husband and I visited the Pittsburgh Blue - Edina on March 18th. Matt was our server and was outstanding in his duties as server!!! We had Calamari for an appetizer and the dip was not where it should have been , in taste. Matt took it back to the kitchen and he and the chef found that we were correct and Matt thanked us for the catch. My filet was done perfectly and my husbands Prime Rib was cooked to a tee. We were minus the Pan Roasted Mushrooms we had asked for , but when Matt found out , he had a pan brought out immediately. Dessert was Five Layer Chocolate Mousse Cake and to say the least .. was fabulous. Thanks Pittsburgh Blue for making my husbands Birthday a memorable one."

  • "My husband was a first timer, with the rest of us (3) having dined their before - either for lunch or dinner. We shared a bottle of wine and ordered the Bourbon-Maple Glazed Bacon as an app. It came out and was delicious. It was gone in the matter of minutes. Us two girls proceeded to order some other drinks while waiting for our dinner. Those took a long time to get to us, but still came prior to our meal. The steaks were delivered - the girls ordered filets and the boys ordered the King's Mother-in-Law cut (24oz of Prime Rib). One looked good and went to our friend and the other was set in front of my husband. Needless to say he wasn't overly excited. It was fattier than it should have been. Possibly worth a second trip."

  • "We went here to celebrate a birthday with a good fried & overall we were not very impressed. We had eaten here about a year ago & had a good dinner, however this time around not so much. Our waiter, although he was polite he really very much a novice for what you would expect at a steak house. He didn't know how to decant the wine we had & he brought steaks that we're different than we ordered. I ordered mine medium rare & when it came it was well done. When he brought the second one, they cut it wide open down the center (which made it get cool/cold real quick. We ordered the Brussel sprouts which had ingredients that were not identified on the menue (some candied nuts with hard caramel)."

The food was very good and the steaks cook to perfection, loved the family style way they serve side plates. Our server (and for the life of me i cant remember her name!!) was very knowledgable and a lot of fun. she had great wine recommendations, and was just a joy to talk to."

  • "We were looking forward to having a really good meal - however, there was nothing exceptional, which was disappointing given good things we had heard. My husband had the porterhouse which was grisly and not very tasty. He ordered it medium rare and asked for it to be on the rare side of that. His meat came more than medium on the ends and just barely medium rare next to the bone. My petite filet was a perfect size and was okay, nothing special. I ordered the Bearnaise sauce which was also mediocre. The Cesar salad had no taste - not enough lemon, no anchovy flavor. Because we told our server that we were 'disappointed', we were given a free chocolate dessert which was very, very good."

  • "Arrived at the restaurant with the entire party of four, and we were seated right away. Menus and water was brought immediately, so things were off to a good start. Ordered the Sea Scallops Benedict (which were outstanding), the lobster bisque (was pretty average), and the filet mignon steak (outstanding, perfectly cooked and perfectly seasoned) with green peppercorn sauce on the side (absolutely dreadful and bland). Service was pretty good throughout the night, and they also served us a birthday cupcake which was nice. However, the food did not impress me, including the lobster bisque. I don't think I will be back personally, but I would still recommend the restaurant to a friend who may have different tastes than I do."

  • "Went to Pittsburgh Blue with four co-workers for a special lunch. Initially I was concerned about table placement because we were next to a traffic pathway through the restaurant. Turned out not to be a problem and we could all hear each other throughout lunch, even though the restaurant got quite busy. Coconut shrimp appetizer was delicious. Three people ordered seafood, one chicken and one steak. Portions seemed appropriate for the price, and we all cleaned our plates. Our server was very attentive and met every need. Watch out for the desserts. We ordered two desserts that were on the "for the table" menu. They were so large that between the five of us, we ate less than half of either one. Overall, it was great choice for lunch."

  • "Considering how much we paid, we didn't think the food was up too par. The swordfish was excellent except I did not like it on top of the tomato mixture, with the small shrimp. It didn't do the swordfish justice. The ribeye was good but nothing we couldn't of done on the grill ourselves. The hash browns Blue style had too much Tabasco taste that wasn't appealing to me. As much as I like blue cheese it didn't seem to go with the hash browns . Possibly we just ordered all the wrong things."

She was very friendly. I always like the food here. I like the wine selection, the choices of food items, the soup, etc. I like to visit at lunch and we were seated at a table where the noise level was fine. I'm sure we will eat there again and we'll recommend it to friends."
