Welcome to The Pistachio Grille, where nuevo world cuisine meets the relaxed environment of this intimate BYOB. Enjoy our attractive ambiance as Ray Moscardelli, chef and owner, serves up the freshest of fish, seafood, and gourmet cuts of meat that he hand-picks himself daily. All of our delicious meals are made to order.
Chef Moscardelli, a graduate of the prestigious Johnson and Wales Culinary Institute, designs his menus to cater to the distinguished palate. Reservations are highly recommended, especially on weekends. A full catering menu is also available upon request. All major credit cards are accepted. BYOB.

  • "This was our first time at this restaurant. We loved the ambience and Laura our server was very attentive without being intrusive. The complimentary bread and roasted peppers were great. We ordered the calamari which was a little overdone and chewy for our taste. Salads are huge so it's better to split one. Entrees were generous and we all enjoyed our selection and agreed we would come back again to try some of the other selections. All in all, this was a wonderful experience."

  • "Really enjoyed the food - however did not know this is BYOB - or that in PA you have to buy wine at a special outlet - so had a 'dry' meal. Such a good meal, my husband and I returned the next evening with another couple, AND two bottles of wine. The key lime pie is killer - my husband's fave so have had all over the country, and this might be the best. Service was casual but friendly and attentive. You may not think to frequent this restaurant based on the strip mall location, but the ambience inside and white table cloths make you forget the location once you are inside. Highly recommend you try."

  • "I have been to Pistachio several times But never for lunch...decided to go with a friend...she had a coupon or something that she wanted to use.,.. First, they were not open at 11 am..(reservation was for 11 ) we both had the crab bisque..it was so so ...the crab was hard to find, and it was dark and not hot enough..Then I ordered the chicken quesadilla, only to be told that they did not have any sour cream...(I almost offered to go across the street to the big supermarket, I'm sure they sell sour cream)anyhow, I took it ...it was ok... Dont think I'll be back for lunch...maybe the regular chef does not do lunch???"

  • "We've been to Pistachio Grill before and it has been one of our favorite spots. The food is very good, well prepared and presented, and right-sized portions. The atmosphere is also commendable, -- comfortable and with an ambiance appropriate for a small, intimate dinner. It is a BYOB, definitely our preference! We had one problem which, while not taking away from the food itself, was reflective of a service problem. Generally there are three menus, one with prices and then without prices a small one and the verbally presented specials.. Prior to ordering, we asked the server for the prices. She told us (there were 4 of us) the prices, we ordered, and then when the bill came, the prices for two of our dinners were $10 more each. Didn't fix."

  • "Waitress came up and told us all the things they were out, at 8PM. Calamari was supposed to be "hot and spicy" but was bland with almost a sweet coating. Duck "breast" was 3 medium pieces and 1 small end piece. Gnocci with bolognese sauce was good, and quite large. Cappucino was tastless, and the key lime tart was super sugary and heavy. It's ok, but nothing to rave about. Several people left because after waiting 20 minutes or more their table still wasn't ready, and they had reservations."

  • "Found a bit of sharp plastic in my salad (after starting to chew it). After notifying our waiter, he was very apologetic. The service recovery was excellent. Our food was great...Veal Scallopini (for me) and Veal Medallions (for my wife)...was very tasty. The wait staff was attentive, but not overbearing...especially impressive given that this was a busy Saturday night. The bread and pepper (that the staff makes sure are never empty) remind me of eating at my grandparents in South Philadelphia."

  • "Was this an off night or is the chef and service now changed?? Had lunch here last week and loved it. Tonight, the food was not as good. That was also negatively affected by the servers clearing all the unused tables starting before 7 PM. I guess they decided no one else was coming that night. Therefore there was the clanging of silverware and dish collection for most of our meal. The atmosphere changed from pretty table settings to nothing on tables. The movement of the servers clearing was a distraction. We were eating instead of dining."

  • "The menu options: awesome. Dinner - ok. Dessert -disappointment. Ex: I split a spinach salad with figs & goat cheese. Dressing on the side, maybe it would have tasted better if tossed with dressing. Short ribs were the winner. My friend complained her ahi tuna sauce was 2 spicy and $31 to expensive. Another friend didn't love her lobster risotto. Another friend had gnocchis , which would have been a good side dish but not an entree. The dessert tray looked very enticing. The choc. soufflé honestly was the worst one I had ever had. The key lime pie wasn't tart, the brownie w/ ice cream was fine. The winner was a cobbler with berries, served warm with ice cream. I will go back. I have been there before and the meals were much better."

  • "I met a friend for dinner on a Wednesday night at Pistachio Grille. The appetizers were great as always...I have been there 5 times and the calamari does not disappoint. However, I ordered a chicken dish that was a little disjointed. The tarragon mushroom sauce over the chicken was excellent however the addition of out of season mealy tomatoes to the sauce almost ruined it. My friend ordered the wedge salad and said it was great. The dessert of peanut butter pie was excellent however the key lime pie was bland, most of the flavor was in the crust. All & all it is still one of my favorite places to go, however I will know to stick with the crab cakes, no chicken dishes."

Purposely left room for dessert and was not disappointed. The key lime tart was zingy and creamy. The waitress was a delight."
