Incredible tastes...great sauces This is a wonderful restaurant.6/11/2013 12:00:00 AMOur second time here and forOur second time here and for the second time this fun little neighborhood Peruvian hang-out did not disappoint! Every single dish we ordered was perfectly cooked and perfectly seasoned. Very interesting options for when you tired of the same old stuff at all the same old places. The server was very helpful and not shy about expressing her opinions--we found them to be right on! Piqueo's will be here for a while, but get there before everyone else does!!5/30/2013 12:00:00 AMWowHoly smokes! Awesome place. Great food. Peruvian with hints of Japanese. Sangria was really nice.
The place is loud, which is cool if your with a group but can be a minor annoyance whilst in Mack Daddy mode.
I will be going back soon.
~Mr. Savasana5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food and perfect forGreat food and perfect for date night except that it was so loud it was hard to hear the person I was sitting across from.5/15/2013 12:00:00 AMFlavors on CortlandGreat restaurant with awesome food and service...this is the third time I have felt I was on a food journey. A must go at least once, if not more. Most definitely my neighborhood spot.5/15/2013 12:00:00 AMWow!I've been here multiple times. I have only had excellent food. The service is great. The staff friendly and knowledgeable. Everyone I've ever brought her loves it too.5/14/2013 12:00:00 AMLove this place; could eatLove this place; could eat there weekly.
Everything just yummy.5/14/2013 12:00:00 AMI love this place!2nd time I've gone in the last two weeks..still discovering. Interesting, original, truly excellent cooking. HIghly recommended.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMStrange Service... exceptional FoodI have now eaten at all three of the affiliated eateries... Mohica, La Constanera .. and now Piqueos. This is by far my favorite.. based solely on the quality of food. I tried to Lomo Saltado at two (Mohica and Piqueos) and found it lacking flavor and seasoning. That being said... the Ceviche was exceptional.5/9/2013 12:00:00 AMOutstanding neighborhood restaurantWe rarely get to Bernal Heights as it is quite distant from the Richmond District, but it was well worth the trip.5/1/2013 12:00:00 AMYum Seviche!Freshest fish, everything that I ate was great .. service was fast and very attentive - kudos to Nicole! - love this little neighborhood gem and will come again.5/1/2013 12:00:00 AM2-dinner worthyit was so good, I came for 2 dinners within an hour from each other! the ceviche is awesome, and so are the empanadas. You know what - order the whole menu!4/30/2013 12:00:00 AMWe've been to Piqueos as aWe've been to Piqueos as a couple and with friends and i have been with girlfriends. The menu has evolved over time and it gets better every time. A great SF restaurant in that it is always lively but with room to enjoy. The corn cake, quinoa salad, quinoa coated prawns and the chicken thighs are my personal favorites. Did i mention the cebiche? Go to Piqueos.4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMNeighborhood Gem and More...My girlfriend lives in Bernal Heights, but never had a chance to try this restaurant. She mentioned her son and friends tried, and raved about it. I went ahead and made a reservation for a first try for both of us. Our Saturday evening dining experience was beyond expectations with fabulous food, ambiance, and service. Scallops a must try. We will definately make Piqueos a regular destination.4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMI have NEVER tried one thingI have NEVER tried one thing at Piqueos that wasn't superlative. It's fresh, uncomplicated, real food. The wine list is interesting, the staff always accommodating and pleasant. I can't wait to return.4/24/2013 12:00:00 AMSO glad this place in nearbyThis is that amazing neighborhood restaurant one wants to go to for dinner all the time, the kind one finds in Paris and just walks to.
Much of the food is unbelievably delicious and you just want to keep the place secret, because the atmosphere is nice, comfortable, a little bit fancy, but basically unpretentious. Also, it's lively. People are having a good time. This is a place where the food is good, but you also like what they're all about.4/18/2013 12:00:00 AMAnother great meal.....serviceAnother great meal.....service a little, slow due to a large group occupying a lot of attention.....4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMVery friendly and helpfulVery friendly and helpful staff. Delicious tapas. Everything was great; especially the over the top mac and cheese-rich and yummy.4/4/2013 12:00:00 AMDefinitely worth a visit.Definitely worth a visit. One of the better restaurants on the South hill.4/3/2013 12:00:00 AMLoved my experience at Piqueo's,Loved my experience at Piqueo's, delicious good and great atmosphere!3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMDelicious food, great andDelicious food, great and friendly service. I've dined here several times, bringing new friends each time. We always leave extremely satisfied. We order several small plates to share. Each dish is a winner.3/29/2013 12:00:00 AMOur family's favorite PeruvianOur family's favorite Peruvian in the City and our daughter's first request when she's home from college. We've got our stand-by favorites, but there's always something new and delicious to try as well. Love the sexy atmo. Wish they had alfajores on the dessert menu (I think Mochica does & we love all their restaurants).3/22/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food at a nice priceWe sat in the small courtyard, which is much quieter than the main room. The main room is crowded and very high energy, great for people watching, but the courtyard is where to be when you want to have a conversation. The food is excellent and reasonably priced, with a wine list that is small but well chosen to provide good wines at a good value. The service is attentive and low key. Even though we live in the East Bay, we come here regularly because the food is so good. Be sure to try one of their ceviches.3/16/2013 12:00:00 AM
