Pintxo-MontrealPintxo is a great little SpanishPintxo is a great little Spanish restaurant. Ambience, service and food are all at a very high level, at reasonable prices. A must-go whenever I visit Montreal.11/3/2013 12:00:00 AMStaff knows what's good!Cute little resto! Staff was awesome, wine was great, and the view we had into the kitchen revealed something I love to see, big bowls of fresh ingredients and a lot of working going into made-to-order dishes. The Pintxo menu is quite large - we sampled 5 each, and some stood out while others were a bit less interesting. I suppose that's bound to happen with so much choice, but the specials and staff suggestions tended to be the standouts. Next time, I'll reduce the Pintxos and try some of the main dishes.
An extra special thanks to the staff for making some special allowances in seatings and reservations, it was really appreciated!10/4/2013 12:00:00 AMit was excellent!! a greatit was excellent!! a great deal if you get the menu degustation. would DEFINITELY recommend to a friend!9/3/2013 12:00:00 AMas usual imaginative cuisine,as usual imaginative cuisine, great and wide variety of plates well served and tasty.7/4/2013 12:00:00 AMIf only I could give it 4.5 Stars..Excellent food, good service and enticing atmosphere. Its just fails to get 5 stars, in view of the cost, although in fairness, eating out in Montreal is expensive across the board.6/10/2013 12:00:00 AMA great end to a perfect day...We were celebrating my daughter's BD and chose Pintxo (high Tripadvisor rating) because we had just been in Spain and had enjoyed the Basque Pintxos experience at a restaurant of the same name in Marbella. This experience was just as good. The several types of carpaccio pintxos were incredible, as were the shrimp, soup, lobster, etc. We also tried full plates. My wife had the duck breast, succulent and tender. I had a dijon encrusted chop that succulent - not the dry fry that many restaurants serve. The risotto and sides were also excellent. My daughter especially enjoyed the Cava, a must for the Pintxos experience. The staff were friendly, engaging and attentive. This great experience was worth the trip from Ottawa in itself!6/9/2013 12:00:00 AMexcellent!great service, amazing food, very unique tapas choices, and a comfortable setting. highly recommended!6/9/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat flavors and mix of ingredientGreat flavors and mix of ingredients. Each pintxo is an experience.6/7/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat experienceFood was excellent, as was the service and wine. We especially loved the molten chocolate cake!!6/5/2013 12:00:00 AMGood food and serviceTasty dishes. Staff was very friendly. Would recommend it. A bit slow to get the first dish, but otherwise it was ok.6/2/2013 12:00:00 AMgreat food but sweltering!A group of us went to Pintxo on a very warm Saturday night. The food was great and the waitstaff very competent. The wine selection is excellent, but the restaurant was sweltering. When we asked if they turn up the air conditioner, we were told it was at its maximum. Then when we suggested that they turn up the speed on the ceiling fans they told us that they were also at their maximum which was not true as they were barely revolving. Although we would return it was strange that they could not accommodate some otherwise happy but very sweaty patrons.6/1/2013 12:00:00 AMPintxo never disappointsI have enjoyed Pintxo several times. Love the ingenious and delicious "small bites". Menu du degustation is very reasonable at $38: 4 pintxos selected by the chef and then a plat. My 4 pintxos were a shot glass of great soup, duck confit with tapenade, a generous slice of fois gras with caramelized onions and a stuffed fresh fig with melted cheese. (my husband had other pintxos that included dishes with chorizo, octopus, scallops). The entree I selected was black cod with a fresh tomato vinaigrette on perfect mashed potatoes. What really keeps us coming back is the terrific staff: helpful, unpretentious and knowledgeable about the wonderful Spanish wines that are available.5/26/2013 12:00:00 AMSmall bitesTruly small bites, as opposed to American sized tapas, so you can order 4 or 5 items. Each one was fabulous!5/24/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent!Food & service were superb. Not much else to say. I will definitely be going back.5/20/2013 12:00:00 AMSuperbes Tappas!Pour ceux qui aiment les tappas -il s'agit d'un des meilleurs endroits à Montréal.
Tous les plats étaient excellents. La liste des vins était bien et s'agençait bien avec les tappas.
Le service fut cordial, discret et efficace.

Would not miss the opportunity to eat here. Staff is helpful and courteous and food is amazing.5/3/2013 12:00:00 AML'essayer c'est l'adopter!Définitivement l'un de mes restaurants préférés! Bravo. Nous y retournerons certainement.4/29/2013 12:00:00 AM
