We've sat outside on the patio and although it is located in the heart of the OC the atmosphere takes you to a quiet place in France. I am not local to the restaurant but I make an effort to get there as often as possible.

Our waiter was very attentive and made some nice recommendations. We started with an appetizer; A charcuterie platter and it was presented beautifully and tasted really good. For the entree I had their halibut with fingerling potatoes in a light butter lemon sauce. The fish was cooked perfectly and the potates with thbe light sauce were tasty. One of ou friends had the mussles and he said they were fresh and very good.

Waiter is very pleasant and attentive. Chef Alfonso is one of the best! He is very talented & creative. We had the asparagus gratin - delicious! There were 4 huge asparagus, Paresan cheese, topped with a fried egg. The assorted melon & Dubgeness crab salad was not only delicious but beautifully presented as well. For entrees we had the halibut and the lamb cassoulet. The halibut was moist and cooked perfectly. The cassoulet had generous amounts of lamb loin & lamb shoulder. Both dining experiences went very well. Only thing negative - was the blah mixed green salad which was served. It lacked flavor and wow factor. Service was more than outstanding, when we ask about a cheese platter that was not on the menu, our waiter was more than happy to see if the chef would make one up, and we were severed a four cheeses. Can not speak about the wine list, because with no cork fee, we decieded to bring our own bottle. Without asking the concierge asked if we were going to a performance after dinner and everything was timed to have us paid up in time to get to the concert hall without worry. The loin was cooked perfectly and the shank was very tender. The endive salad with blue cheese, candied walnuts, grapes & apples is a delicious starter. My husband started with the duck confit salad.
