Our server was really good. She commented on the food to help make our decisions, was attentive, and conversational without being overly talkative. The portions are just right and they offer more bread if desired.

Originally we stopped by as it was a neighborhood place we had never tried, and ordered some pizza, the gnocchi and another pasta dish. All fabulous, best gnocchi I've had in a long time (the pesto cream sauce is amazing!). The salads are so fresh and delicious, and the breadsticks..oh my. Fluffy, buttery, hot when served with delicious marinara topped with grated parmesan. Recently went back and ordered the pasta primavera which surprisingly and thankfully was as much 'veggies' as it was pasta, absolutely delicious. We also indulged in one of many scratch-made desserts, the "Chocolate Bomb" I think it was called, delicious warm brownie topped with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce, caramel sauce and whipped cream.

We ended up at this restaurant because we had been ignored at a restaurant down the street, so we weren't in the best mood and super hungry, too. I wanted one thing and hubby wanted another, so our server suggested the pepperoni rolls (YUM). He had lasagna and I had gnocchi. The sauce they use is so light and fresh, not weighty and greasy like some Italian places. There was someone playing the guitar and it was so quiet and peaceful. Oh my, I am so glad we ate here! We weren't looking for a romantic meal, but that's what it was. Just perfect. The treat they give you at the end of the meal makes you feel like a valued customer, too. I want to know where to order those little chocolate treats! Thank you for salvaging our night.

The restaurant was quite, but the couple next to us were like they had a megaphone, We could have been seated in a different spot as the place was not full. The food was not good Italian. I think the tomato sauce came from a can, my wife said, as it had that tinny taste., The lasagna Noodles were almost nonexistent. could hardly find in the pile of sauce. The Veil Marsala was tasteless.

We went there for Valentines's Day and were disapointed. we had reservations which we arrived early and were seated, (Only plus for the night) we ordered drinks and a appitizer which came after a short wait but the meal took a whopping hour and 15 mins before it came out. I had the filet and my girlfried had scrimp scanpi . the filet was over cooked but the scampi was ok. I dont under stand knowing its a special day and that they would be packed the staff was not prepard for the crowd. the couple next to us had been there since 6:30 pm and had not received their meal after a hour and 30 mins. later found out. We also did notice people getting up and leaving after drinks du to the long wait for food.

What a terrible experience! it's like they were completely unprepared for business. The only shining star was our server, but she spent most of her evening apologizing to other patrons due to late meals and poor service. my recommendation is for Robert Irvine to bring their crew there immediately to save the place AND to not wait until the last minute to make reservations for Valentine's Day next year like I did this year and only being able to find Pinocchio's with open tables!!

To be fair, we were in on Valentine's evening. But the Kitchen was super slow, no bartender for those who just wanted a cocktail while waiting for a table and too many children. The food was awesome and we discovered a place we will go back to. The Server made the difference. We were not in a rush and enjoyed the down time but it was obvious there was not enough support for the staff.

I was sat separately from my party to start then from the point of ordering it took 1.5 hours to get the main course. Incredibly slow once I got manicotti it was a bit salty. The other people in our party got luke warm food. Probably the worst service I've had in a long time for mediocre food. Granted it was Valentines day but bring in more people to help. I won't be repeating! There are to many great restaurants in Denver to ware time for mediocrity at best.

I will admit that Valentines Day may not be the best time to visit a restaurant for the first time. Our basic complaint is that the restaurant was not staffed to handle the number of people for Valentines Day. We had a number of issues, hostess had difficulty determining where to seat us, she forgot to provide menus and wine list, server was inattentive, food was mediocre at best and it took one hour from the time they took our salad dishes away to when the main entrees were delivered with no explanation. There were patrons waiting to be seated yet a table near us was not cleaned and reset during that hour we waited. Appetizers were over-priced as was the wine. This is not an Italian restaurant I would recommend or re-visit.

As others have stated, the bad reviews are questionable. Fortunately a few friends of mine told me of their good experiences here as the bad reviews made me hesitant to try this restaurant. We were glad we did. The prices are reasonable and the bread sticks were wonderful. Here's a hint: Eat out early--before 6:00. When the restaurant gets crowded service slacks up a little and the breadsticks may sit under the heat lamps a bit longer and become a tad on the tough side (we still ate them--our 2nd or was it 3rd helping of them.) It is also REALLY nice to have real tablecloths and napkins. The food was very good.

Pinnochio's is an inexpensive Italian place that really cares about good food. They're one of the few places that actually includes a hearty salad along in the price of the meal. Everything was tasty. We went twice in one week! The building is a little outdated, but who cares? It's clean, the food is great and the staff is very welcoming.

We ordered chicken marsala and a similar chicken dish. There was one very small thin cutlet (on both plates) a lot of scalloped potatoes and a few vegetables. The sauce was good, although the marsala did not have the typical rich mushroom gravy (no mushrooms to be found) both sauces were very light and very similar. We did not feel the quantity of food justified the price.. We may have just chosen the wrong dishes. Not sure if we will try again. In defense of the maitre'd she knew we were not pleased and offered a free dessert although we couldn't take advantage of at that time.

My daughter and I had dinner here while I was visiting from out-of-town. I had the Chicken Tiamo, their house favorite, which was delicious. My daughter ordered the Veal 508, while good, wasn't as "smokey" as she had anticipated. Both dishes actually came with vegetables, which was refreshing instead of having to order a separate side. The wine list was decent and the noise level was low enough that we were able to have a quiet conversation and catch-up. The service was excellent. Unfortunately, we were too full to try any of the desserts...maybe next time. I notice that another reviewer mentioned ripped plastic tablecloths...strange because our table and all those around us had cloth napkins and table linens

My wife and I had dinner last Saturday night - our first and last visit to this restaurant. We could not have been more disappointed. We knew we were in trouble when we walked in for a 7:00 reservation on a Saturday night and at least 90% or more of the tables were empty. I could provide an extensive list of issues, but will only provide some highlights - the ambiance cannot be worse, torn plastic red checked tablecloths, cheap table settings, etc. wires hanging down all over the place, etc. My wife ordered a glass of Cabernet (they only carry one Label) and was told they were completely out of Cabernet. Veal was as tough as leather, and all you could taste was salt. Far from Incredible, in fact a disaster.
