Pines of Italy reviews from OpenTable diners
  • Dinner shouldn't take 2 hours

I think the restaurant in under renovations because you had to pass through several room to get to the dinning area. We arrived early for our reservations and were seated right away. Unfortunately it took 2 hours from start to finish. Don't go if you're on a tight schedule or hungry. The food was ok, pasta was under done.

The outside of Pines of Italy always appeared strange to me because they have no windows but a few good reviews of the restaurant made me give them a try. Entering, there is a mini bar with a dance floor and flashing lights. I honestly thought I’d entered the wrong restaurant but a nice host led us through to the back and it looked like the website. The décor of this restaurant is very outdated and the cushioned seating had tape on them and felt uncomfortable in my opinion. The salad was your general bag salad with dressing and the mozzarella sticks didn’t taste homemade which was disappointing. The entrees were superb however. I enjoyed my chicken with lemon wine sauce and my boyfriend enjoyed his spaghetti with meatballs.

DH and I went for dinner on a whim, it was wonderful food, albeit a strage layout and decor of the restaurant. The good news is we go out for good food! Service was wonderful and friendly.
