Pierrot Bistrot FrancaisOur 1st time there and myOur 1st time there and my wife and I were very please and will return.6/8/2013 12:00:00 AMSmall, very good food.Pierrot Bistro Francais is quite small, but the service is great. Attentive without being intrusive. Wine list is large for the size of the restaurant and the choices are inspired and quite reasonably priced.. It would be difficult to find a better French bistro without actually going to France. I highly recommend this restaurant as it is a bargain for the quality.6/3/2013 12:00:00 AMHaven't missed yet! We've been to this restaurant three times in the past year. Each time we are pleased with the menu, wine, and service. We usually like to order from the specials. This week I enjoyed a tomato-artichoke soup, followed by the seafood risotto. All portions sizes were good and the bread is always delicious here. One of the items we especially enjoy often comes with meat dishes, and it is a scalloped potato -- very good. Our favorite dessert is the profiteroles.5/24/2013 12:00:00 AMAnniversaryTook us back to the wonderful Bistros of Paris. Food was excellent and service was outstanding. Their menu selections offered everything we were looking for including wonderful champagne cocktails. The dessert soufflé was perfection. The service was comfortably attentive without being intrusive. An excellent evening and dining experience overall.
J & B5/24/2013 12:00:00 AMVery consistentHave been eating here for years. Always great food. Nice exposed brick bistro atmosphere. Gracious service. Small but well-chosen wine list.5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMfirst visit - not our last!on our first trip to boston in a while, we found ourselves staying in an unfamiliar neighborhood. found this little gem through open table and couldn't be happier that we did. the service was old-world impeccable - attentive without hovering. don't have much opportunity to order escargot where we live, so we decided to splurge. not sorry. the lobster bisque was the best we've ever had, anywhere. huge chunks of lobster in a thick, savory - not creamy - broth. the baguettes with unsalted, european-style butter beautifully complemented our meal. the veal and beef bourgignon were of the highest quality. lavender creme brulee was the piece de resistance. a bit of the left bank on beacon hill. a definite return whenever in boston.5/9/2013 12:00:00 AMAlways very good. Soups are especially good.4/23/2013 12:00:00 AMSmall part of Paris in BostonPierrot Bistrot Francais is a gem, one might think they were in a small spot in Paris, not Boston. The food is Bistro food and very good, their bread is exceptional.
I highly recommend it.4/15/2013 12:00:00 AMAuthentic French AtmosphereVery nice French feeling. Attentive native French waitress. Food was brought to us on very warm plates, which we liked. One of the other patrons brought a two year old child, which was a slight annoyance. We will certainly return again.3/28/2013 12:00:00 AMEvery time we visit Boston,Every time we visit Boston, we make it a point to have lunch or dinner at Pierrot.
