Pier Market Seafood Restaurant - Pier 39 SFBirthdaySurprised my wife on her 50th birthday with a trip to San Francisco (We're from Chicago). Picked Pier 39 Seafood market based on internet reviews and location. We weren't let down - the service was quick and very friendly, the food was delicious and the views were wondeful. I got a whole bunch of brownie points for this trip. Nice bar and friendly bar tender. Was not hurried through our dinner but felt welcome to take our time. Had a nice table by the window.

I tried your stuffed trout and it unfortunately was a "B". The stuffing was just too much bread and the trout was the the thinnest one I have ever eaten. I felt like all I got was bread stuffing. It may be that is what happens with a thin fish but I would have liked it better without the stuffing. My choice though. Usually I get the salmon burger which I adore. Our waitress was absolutely wonderful. Liana was her name, I think. I used open table and that worked great.3/27/2013 12:00:00 AM
