  • "Was in the area on Saturday and being that it was a beautiful day, my fiancé and I wanted to have unch outdoors if possible. Searched for outdoor seating on open table nearby and this what the first restaurant that popped up. Excellent food (the Logan burger was the best burger I've had in a long time), great mixed drinks and an amazing view as promised. Would go back with friends"

  • "I have been here for drinks but this time I came for a casual birthday dinner. I ordered the filet mignon, that came with mashed potatoes and spinach. Everything was delicious. The service was good and you couldn't beat the view."

  • "Highly recommend. View of Manhattan is priceless. Great menu, service could have been a little more attentive. But overall, wonderful experience!!"

  • "Went for an early dinner on a Saturday night after a movie at the theater just up the road. Decent crowd for 6:45 pm, mix of families, couples, singles - definitely an energetic ambiance but we were still able to to talk among ourselves (a party of 3) and be heard. Appetizers were good - buffalo wings and the hummus dip. We all enjoyed our mains as well - burger and fries, baby back ribs, veggie burger with a salad. I wouldn't say anything stood out as being amazing, but food was reliably good and cooked to our liking. Nice beer selection, we didn't test the wine or cocktail list however. Would definitely go back, especially during nice weather to sit outside. Absolutely fantastic night-time view of almost the entire length of Manhattan."

  • "I just think this is the coolest restaurant EVER! It's situated at the end of an old industrial pier, which makes the views of NYC and the harbor unsurpassed, and the restaurant design takes full advantage of its unique location. BUT I don't want to take away from the food, which is very good (very, very good), upscale pub food -- think burgers, pizza, sandwiches -- and also the beer list, which is not your run-of-the-mill and includes a rotating selection of microbrews. I've been there on a date, and I've been there with my family (twice), and both times, Pier 115 fit the bill perfectly. I have only been here in cold weather, but Pier 115 features some outdoor lounge areas, and I look forward to coming back when the weather is warmer."

  • "I was there on Saturday with my friends, I'm not so happy about the service there. Manager is being rude when we ask for extra chairs. This place is a bit overcharge as well. We were paying extra money for mediocre service...."

  • "Atrocious service (dry and not-so-kind hosts/hostesses, runners making nonstop errors, bus boys leaving empty plates on your table for hours, some servers that are simply aloof and seemingly don't care, and managers with straight up attitude) Mediocre food (tried about every item on the menu and there is absolutely nothing stellar to write home about. Except that one time that I had the shi shi grilled cheese sandwich, but that was because I was bordering starvation so anything would have been like eating heaven) Okay wine and beer. I keep putting myself through the torture here because of the ambiance, view and the convenience of location. Do yourself a favor, eat down the street and just come here for a drink."

  • "We went here for valentines with my son and godson not expecting greatness from past visits . It was one if the few local places that was kid friendly with a reservation open. Well what progress they have made ! Delicious hibiscus margarita, tuna, Kobe beef , shrimp and desserts spot on! The kids meals were large and tasty. Best of all we weren't banged over the head !"

  • "Pier115 is a very vibrant place. We will never go there on Valentine's Day. Upon being seated by the hostess, she advised us that there was a 1-1/2 hour limit for dining because they were expecting a large crowd. We sat for over two hours and there were tables available around us. A little bit of a turn off right off the bat. The vodka drinks are $13 a pop."

  • "My favorite is the lamb burger. The pizzas are also great. I love trying the different beers(I'm not a beer drinker, but this is fun) We like to come for lunch or weeknight dinner when it is not so vibrant."

  • "This is my 2nd time dining at Pier 115 and it's been another great experience. The ambiance was very lively and the pulled pork sliders and the deep fried snickers, yes I said deep fried snickers, was fabulous. Our server was very attentive and sweet. I'll be going back really soon, maybe even next week. Highly recommend!"

  • "You are pretty much forced to do the valet parking, as public parking is far away in a not well-lit area. Food is ehh. The menu is all over the place. Clientele leaves little to be desired. If you want to see a "Jersey" crowd with guys giving bro hugs to one another, come here. While the Edgewater area does need a good restaurant and bar, this place isn't it. As a local resident, I'm still waiting for that neighborhood gem."

  • "Good for a social night out. Had dinner with a friend. After being seated in the corner without any lighting, our waitress moved us to a table that was better lit upon request. Overall service and food was average although we did have a manager (I think) come to our table to check on us. After dinner, we moved to the bar and the ambience was fun - bartenders were extremely friendly. I'll definitely go there again for drinks and to hang out."

  • "I am amazed at how this neighborhood have changed over the years and Pier 115 is one of those establishments that really add value to the local bar/lounge scene. I have been going there since the summer because of the great location, view and beer on tap. Ambience - the restaurant side is quiet and more accommodating for dinner & drinks and the bar/lounge side is good for drinks and just catching up with friends. Food - it's not amazing but the pizza is pretty delicious along with the small apps. Service - the bar staff and the servers are really friendly and tries to make you feel comfortable; but not sure about the hostess crew. They are always a bit snobby in my opinion. It doesn't hurt to smile."

  • "Went with one of my girlfriends for dinner. First had drink at bar. Bar service was a little slow but we were patient. We then scored a booth by the window and the view was beautiful. We split a margarita pizza and the Parmesan truffle tater tots. Both were delicious. They serve cannon ball wine by the bottle at a reasonable cost. Service at our table could not have been more attentive. Only con was the price of a glass of wine. Would be nice to offer one or two at a better cost."

  • "I was there with just a group of 4 people. We ordered drinks and only 3 came out, so my one friend was sitting there for about 10 mins before she got hers. I kept trying to get our server's attention for another drink but she ignored me about 2 times. My husband had to raise his voice to get her attention, after attempting to wave her down. We finally got our food, but only 3. I sat there waiting for about 10-15 mins for my food. I think our waitress came by our table only once during our dinner. When it was time for the check, she put the check down really hard and made my friend's phone fall. I heard from her was, "turn it on. Make sure it works." Thankfully my friend wasn't too bothered; he said it was fine. She didn't seem apologetic"

  • "This was my 3rd time here! The 1st 2 times were for lunch so we didn't get the whole night time vibe. This past weekend we went for my birthday celebration on Saturday night. Service was a little slow at first, it was extremely crowded... I made a reservation for both dinner and bottle service. We were told it would be an hour wait for dinner and that it would be best just to eat on the couches where we were going to be partying. It ended up being great, we ordered a few pizzas, and other apps (tater tots are AMAZE). Drinks were great, DJ was fab, the city view is the best! We love it here! In fact got one of my girlfriends to change the location of her birthday to here :)"

  • "Very casual - but fun. Beautiful scenic view of Manhattan. Definitely take a walk outside on the pier to enoy the skyline. Felt a bit rushed at first - as main course came out while we were still eating our appetizers. But it wasn't a big deal - as we were still able to linger over our dessert. Menu is brief, but yummy. Staff were friendly but not overbearing. would definitely go there again."

  • "Great place to go for a drink after work or meet up with friends for the night. The view is fantastic, and the outside area is great when it's warm. Not the best for dinner. I'm no food expert, but I'm pretty sure Fish n' Chip's are supposed to be crispy, not soggy and soft. We also went there for a birthday, and although they were nice enough to bring a dessert with a candle in it... they were also nice enough to include it on our bill. oh, and if you happen to be Gluten Free... run, they'll kill you."

  • "I love this place and we have been there a lot but every time I go, the music seems to get louder and louder. On Saturday night it ruined our meal as we could not even talk to each other. In the end we left without dessert or coffee - it was just unbearable."

  • "the food was great- very tasty. the view was great especially on this night that we went. we sat in a "VIP" type area that was only about 7 tables and was slightly away from the rest of the restaurant, it was also glass enclosed to block out some of the noise of the rest of the people dining there. it was a great night, i took someone there for a birthday dinner."

  • "I had been three times and my reviews were progressively worse. Heard through friends things had improved and a new chef was on board . They are still charging 5 to valet but considering Hoboken , and NYC would be higher I guess it's not unusual . The bartenders made much more consistent drinks we noted they were now tasting small amounts of what they made via straws . We were able to sit outside and they have new , tented booths . Service was better but not stellar , for example we ordered two desserts and only one came . When we questioned it our waiter shrugged and said " well do you still want it ?" He seemed overwhelmed by the increasing large crowd . The food was actually very good - and I'll be back."

  • "Being able to eat outside at Pier 115 is fabulous. What a view. Inside we like the booths or, for bigger groups, the smaller room. The servers still need some experience but everyone was out to please. We love the lamb burger. The ribs are great. The mac 'n cheese was good. The pizza is wonderful. We love the choice of wines and beers. This is such a great addition to the riverwalk neighborhood. Only downer is the $5 charge for valet parking. It's not our fault that the restaurant is all the way at the end of the pier and the free-parking is located down a dark and dingy road. Maybe as the area develops, so will this complex."

  • "We celebrated a birthday and had a table for 10. We shared a lot of items. Everything was taken care of perfectly and the staff was wonderfully attentive. Thank you Michael and Diana. We shared pizzas as appetizers. This is one of the best pizzas in the area (and there is competition for that title!) The wine list is great for both choice and value. Meats: Burgers, steaks, ribs etc are great. I was disappointed with the crab cake--small, not a lot of crab and a hefty price for what it was. My only disappointment so far. Considering that the restaurant has not had a "grand opening" yet, they were packed! Just a fun place! A restaurant like this was missing from this area. I'm so happy to have it as a "neighborhood " place!"

  • "Third visit- and it was the worst one yet. We had reservations and requested outside. They sat us but never assigned a waiter an the one that was outside was servicing everyone around us. We waited 30 minutes for someone to say "is someone helping you." The bartenders were not trained- it is OBVIOUS. The woman next to me sent a cosmo back 3x. I ordered a mojito type cocktail that came warm in a rocks glass and was not strained so it had a bunch of cucumber seeds in it. The food was good again- the fish and chips being the best thing we tried- pizza was terribly oily and bland. Burger was good though a tad overcooked, tater tots with truffles outstanding. This is a very cool place with a fantastic location- but needs help!"

  • "Service was bad and the food was not great. The only thing that was good was the pizza. My hamburger might have tasted better if it wasn't cold. The 6 specialty drinks we got were all odd. I ordered the "mule" which is my new drink. It is supposed to come in a copper mug. It even said so on the menu. When he brought it to me in a glass and I asked why he shrugged his shoulders and walked away. We won't be going back."

  • "My first visit was less than spectacular . This visit the a c was working , menu expanded and service was a little better . The ambiance is great- a view - lots of TVs for sports - huge beer selection- create cocktails though the bartenders are very inconsistent with execution. The menu is fun - everything was good but not outstanding . What's missing here is a highly trained staff. Think if it as a houlihans type venue and your expectations won't be let down. Good for meeting friends , watching a game , or for Drinks ! It is definitely needed in the area. Oh and it Is criminal to charge people to valet ! Get real !"

  • "Pier 155 has great potential, but I think they opened before they were fully ready to go. They are working with a sample menu, not what is on line. The staff has absolutely no knowledge of what is on the menu and there is a lack of cohesiveness between wait staff and bartenders. For example, I kept seeing martinis come out without garnish and then waiters running olives and cherries to guests . When you first get there you follow valet signs, but no valet exists. Then , the AC was not working - and everyone was complaining. They told us the ac is not big enough to cool the place off, well tell people before they sit you down. It was very uncomfortable. The highlight was the good food and awesome atmosphere."

  • "We had a wonderful experience at Pier115 and it had only been open a few days--which is never the time to judge a restaurant. But very few improvements will be needed. The seating is terrific; the beer and wine list wonderful; great menu at good prices; great, friendly service--what more can you ask for? Next time we intend to try the wood-burning pizza--it looked fabulous. Hamburgers were great. as was steak sandwich and fish and chips. Valet parking and lunch has not started yet; nor was the outside dining pier open yet--but we look forward to all that. the outdoor bar was great--great seating and full menu service. We will be back OFTEN!"
