  • "The brunch has something for everyone. We have 2 boys 10 & 12 and wanted something nice for fathers day and (their grandfather). We have a picky grandma, but she enjoyed brunch as well. My 10 year old said it was the best brunch ever. Snowcrab legs, salmon, waffles, desserts, omelette station etc. The outdoor atrium dining provides a nice view but is not too stuffy. Then you can walk around along the Potomac. The area is turning out nicely."

  • "Mothers Day brunch is always delicious here at the Pienza. The buffet has a wide variety of food to accommodate anyones food preferences. An extensive variety of fruits, vegetables, salads, seafood, chicken, pasta, carving stations, kids station, breakfast food, breads, sweet pastries, desserts etc... I highly recommend it. Service is always with a smile and they are prompt to clear your table. THe indoor atrium is a beautiful backdrop while dining. Kids are highly welcomed and they have a food station dedicated to their favorite foods."

  • "The wife and I go there occasionally when we want to be treated to a really nice buffet selection that's better than the average restaurant buffet fare. The food quality is good but it's a bit pricey. We went this time for Mother's Day and the menu was supposedly extended and we noticed a few additional items beyond the norm but nothing that justified the inflated price for the "Mother's Day Brunch." Mimosas weren't even included or anything special. That aside, we highly recommend it but will stick to going on the regular days for the lower price."

My only tiny complaint is the upcharge from the regular brunch cost of $38 to $57 was a bit steep especially when our Mimosa's were a la carte. It would have been nice if they were included in the inflated cost. I'm certain I will visit again! "

  • "$40 per person for an average brunch buffet?? Never again! That same buffet would cost $20 elsewhere, and while the Gaylord is lovely, it's not worth the additional $20 premium, in my mind. The servers were all very nice and attentive, but it did not make up for the fact that I paid $40 for waffles, sausage and an omelet. That was my first (and last) brunch outing at Pienza."

Several members of our group dislike buffets and we were expecting a sit-down table service breakfast. When we arrived we were informed that they only had the buffet.   • "I was at a conference located at National Harbor with friends and we were looking for restaurant options for lunch and dinner. Dinner at this restaurant was fun, relaxing, and tasty! We all had something different (Mahi Mahi special, Chicken Alfredo, and Margareta Pizza) and all of us were very happy with the quality and portions of food. Also, our waiter was very friendly and provided great service. We will definitely eat here again."

  • "When we first got there the Hostess was very nice and went over everything to us. Once we sat down our server was right there asking if we wanted a drink. But after that no one came over to clear our table so we could go get more food. We had to eat ontop of our old plate. When they finally did come over to clear the table they didnt ask if we wanted a refill. For the amount of money that we spent on the breakfast I was looking for a little better service."

Came here specifically just because I was craving breakfast & i didn't find it too special. Service was okay but the waitress brought our check while we were on our first plate of food & I found it very rude, like I was being rushed out even though we were one of the only customers. I wouldn't come back here, its far too expensive to be of such mediocre quality."

  • "we've been having a rather large Christmas brunch there every year since it opened. it seems as if they are just not trying any more. do not go after 12:30 pm as the buffet starts to become picked through and they do not restock many of the better items. i couldn't even find anyone to restock the fruit at the chocolate fountain. deserts-don't even think about it. the entire buffet it is a mess by 1 pm. and all the staff is trying to get out of there. hated to tip 20% on the bill for buffet. but I figure it's not the servers fault. its poor management."
