A true gem! The owner takes such pride in what he does; it's lovely to see. The wait staff is very knowledgable and friendly, but not too overbearing. A lovely little restaurant for those of us who appreciate fine food and wine.

Although there was an issue seating us - the restaurant bent over backwards to make sure the rest of our experience was great. The food was authentic French, the wine selection very good but most of all the hospitality of the owner himself in introducing himself to everyone and finding out their likes and dislikes and make recommendations accordingly. Would highly recommend it and intend to go back myself!

This has to have been the worst dining experience I have ever had. Hotel suggested I valet park in neighborhood which was $20 flat rate. When I asked if I was at the correct place, the host mocked me and asked if I had reserved a table. Restaurant consultant skipped over me as he greeted guests and when I spoke to him, he proceeded to tell me how he hated the very area I was from. In the end, food was bland and overpriced. A meal experience for one came to $100...I don't mind paying this for a good experience, but my advice would be to skip THIS experience.

Pied a Terre is an amazing surprise in the hectic and eclectic activity of Miami Beach. It’s located in a wonderfully restored small hotel, just off the main thoroughfares of Lincoln Road and Collins Avenue. Outstanding experience and personal service from Patrick and Didier. Don't know where to start with this place...outstanding service that is rare in Miami/Miami Beach. Food was exquisite, fresh and divine! The wine list/pairing superb! Manager made sure we were completely taken care off and the server hands-down one of the best we've had in Miami. Pied a Terre is the perfect example of the saying 'you get what you paid for', and we truly did! High price worth every dollar. Can't wait to return.

The restaurant celebrates "Nouvelle Cuisine" with very fresh products. The taste of the plates is focused on the product Nd is not spicy at all. This is a way cooking, which is not äppreciated by everybody. The service was poor for such a place and not very warm hearted. It is a good alternative to the loud places and heavy cooking in Miami Beach Restaurants. The wine list is attrative and prices ok.

The restaurant is a rare find, not highly advertised; however, what a great choice. We went for our 4 year anniversary and ran into two other couples that were celebrating 19 and 6 years respectively; it was notably the best choice in mind. Great wine without the high price tag, excellent food with perfect size, great menu and superb attention. Plan on spending around 100/person; well worth it.

This was my first visit, and it was during "Miami Spice". It is located in the tourist area of South Beach. But this a "Local's Gem". I would put Pied a Terre at the top of Miami's "Fine Dining" restaurants. The restaurant is small, cozy, and romantic. The service is first class, and with just enough attention to details. The waiter suggested great tasting French wines by the glass at reasonable prices. The food was cooked to perfection, and the presentation was wonderful. I will definitely visit again.

Excellent restaurant, a gem, food, service, courtesy, cleanness are A1. Charming place, quiet, elegant, tasteful with the owner coming to your table and asking about the food. Is expensive, but worth the price. I thanks Miami Spice for having the oportunity to discover this place. Only problem is the parking, go with enough time to find an spot, (neared valet parking is $25) or walk 3 blocks from neared public parking garage.

this is not old school French food- nor is it nuvous French. it's fresh herbs, updated recipes, layered taste profiles- and good sized servings! without any pretension. we were 15 minutes early for our reservation and were seated immediately. after perusing menu, Patrick came to our table to answer any questions. he listened to what we liked in red wines to suggest a white. he suggested wines at several price points. the wine list is phenomenal. he also knew all ingredients and how each dish was prepared. both of our meals ( apps, main, dessert) were amazing. we will return when we come back to Miami.
