A word from Piccolo Restaurant of Huntington
2013 Long Island Zagat Survey Rates Piccolo with 27 in "Food," 20 in "Decor," and 25 in "Service".

A "faithful" crowd stays true to this "upscale" New American-Italian in Huntington, which "deserves its reputation" for "superb cuisine" spanning "delicious pastas" to "phenomenal meat and fish"; the "top-notch" service and "intimate" setting with a pianist Sunday-Thursday will "make any occasion special", but make sure to reserve ahead because the cozy "close quarters" fill up fast on the weekends.

Received the "Award of Excellence" from Wine Spectator in 2014.

Went to Piccolos based on Trip Advisor reviews. Glad I listened. Everything about the place was great. (Food, drinks, service) We had a party of 6 and all raved about how great the food was, from appetizers to entrees to the dessert. A nice find, will definitely be back, and HIGHLY recommend. Thank you Piccolos for an enjoyable night out!

I have to say that we do not go to Piccolo enough. The food is always outstanding and the service is wonderful. The staff can actually anticipate what you might want. I always have the duck and I know that I should try something else, but when it is that good, it is what I go back for. Maybe I should go more often. All I would advise is to improve the beer list. Add a few micro brews to make things interesting.

We have eaten here many times over the more than twenty years Piccolo has existed, with and without friends. It's pricey, but always worth it. What really makes a restaurant last many years is consistency, and Piccolo has it. During the summer they have an excellent version of breaded soft shell crab, and we always have that, although my wife requests it with pasta instead of vegetables, and they are always glad to oblige, even on crowded Saturday nights. We had started with fried zucchini blossoms (good, but a little bland). Our friends had a chicken dish and duck - both of which they enjoyed. Desserts are always wonderful (We share them).Service is always solicitous. It's a satisfying experience.

Tucked away in a little spot off the beaten path of Huntington is a really perfect restaurant --Piccolo's. The service was excellent. The waiters willing made excellent recommendations! The seafood fra diablo, salmon, and swordfish were our entree choices. The specials and appetizers did not disappoint. Thoroughly enjoyed every bite even down to the banana croissant pudding and cappuccino!

My wife and I went on our first date there seven years ago but haven't eaten there in 3 plus years because of our two new additions in the last 3 yrs. We decide that our first date night in years that we wanted it to be somewhere that we could count on. I was hoping for the food quality to be what I remember it was in the past. Unfortunately it was not.

Forgetable. Expensive. Appetizer tasted deforsted or just refrigerator odor taste. $15 martini awful. Entree tasteless. Not worth 100.00 per person (including tip) Too many other choices in Huntington

Piccolo is the perfect combination of elegance, service and delicious food. The menu specials are incredible as are the choices on the regular menu. Our waiter decanted our wine tableside and was most attentive. We've been to this restaurant a half a dozen times and it is better each time. Tough to get a table over the weekend, but call to reserve early. Fantastic!!!

We've been here before and enjoyed the food but our recent visit was most disappointing. The calamari were so chewy we actually had to remove some pieces that could not be eaten. We should have sent the dish back, but foolishly did not. My husband's chicken scarparella was swimming in gravy and the chicken was in chunks (reminding my husband of chicken nuggets, the kind kids like) and not on the bone, something the menu should have stated. I had the fish tacos, which is actually an appetizer, and they were just OK. All in all a disappointing experience. The service was attentive.

Great food, great staff and elegant setting makes for a meal to remember. The hot antipasto we shared was amazing. Being someone who loves eggplant I chose to have it as my entrée as well and was glad I did. My husband had the duck which is always incredible. This is a place I want to keep coming back to. A varied menu from appetizers to entrees and desserts makes for an opportunity for you to experience a new and more wonderful meal the next time you decide to dine at Piccolo's Restaurant in Huntington.

I love this gem off the beaten path from downtown Huntington. It's got that old school feel whereby you are greeted as if you're a regular, the bartenders are always top notch, witnessed by the full bar of regulars, the wine list is exceptional, live & excellent piano playing. The new improved menu is not just your standard Italian.(Don't worry, all your favorites are still there) There are exciting vegetarian options and twists on the classics. Andiamo!

We had never been to Piccolo but based on reviews we decided to go there on Valentine's Day. We were not disappointed. They had hearts hanging up with dim, romantic lighting. The staff was very friendly and attentive. When my husband had to leave for a few minutes the waiter came over to talk with me. The food was cooked to perfection and the wine list was excellent , covering a wide range and variety. The salmon with cous cous was delicious and my husbands short rib dish was cooked to perfection. As we left I was handed a long stemmed rose. We definitely plan to return.

Piccolo's is exceptional in every way. The moment you walk in the door, you are greeted in a way that makes all feel like a "regular". The staff are courteous, professional and very comfortable in providing you with the best service possible. The waiters are very attentive but not intrusive. Piccolo's atmosphere is unique in the sense that you can have a very romantic dinner for two or feel comfortable dining with a small group of family or friends. The menu is well rounded and ranges from chicken parmigiana to caviar. I have been dining at Piccolo's for ten years and have never been dissapointed. Piccolo's formula for success is an example of what it takes to provide consistency, professionalism and excellence in the fine dining world.
