The manager walked behind several different couples as they left and went out of the restaurant and watched them get into their vehicles before they left and when my daughter and I left he did the same thing. The manager also came by and asked how everything was and our reservation went perfect. As soon as we walked in there was no waiting around. I would highly recommend this restaurant. I took my wife there on our first Valentines date 12 years ago and have been several times prior to that. The place has not changed. Perfect for romantic or special occasions.4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMPiccolo Mondo never failsPiccolo Mondo never fails to be an enjoyable evening out for dinner. The menu does not change very much and the specials rotate somewhat slowly where some always are on the board out front, which is a good thing because the list is long and enjoyable. I selected the Cod from the specials board and it was outstanding! A salad started the meal followed by pairing the cod with a Pino Grigio. For dessert... tiramisu and a cappuccino which was perfect! We brought friends with us and they also enjoyed it. It is nice to know that restaurants that already do things well don't try to reinvent themselves to try to be "better" because better when you do what they do isn't really "better".
