Every few months, my wife and I
travel in to NYC to meet friends for dinner. This was our 2nd time at this restaurant and it was even better than our first visit. Great food and great service - we'll be back again."

Pleasant, competent staff. Nice
atmosphere in brick lined room. Food was excellent and attractively presented"
Dined on 4/5/2014
Thank you again for the wonderful
luncheon! It is valuable to my business in NYC and I hope it brings you much new business. As always the staff food and service was outstanding!"
Dined on 3/31/2014
Everything was well prepared and
tasty! Raw clams fresh and delicious; pasta al dente served with excellent sauce; pork osso bucco, tender; excellent onion rings and truffle fries.worth the prices, which are on the upscale side."

I met a friend for dinner after
work during the week. The place is very nice-- clean, colorful, etc. The food was good but, nothing great. She had lobster ravioli and I had chicken marsala. We both had spinach salad and shared the chocolate fondue for dessert. No complaints but, nothing "over the top" and I've had just as good for less money elsewhere. On the plus side, the wait staff was amazing. They are right at your side continually picking up and dropping off plates. However, the place was too noisy for my taste and the tables were very close together.. a little too claustrophobic for my taste. I might go back if I find myself in the area again but, if I don't, I won't be craving anything or feel like I'm missing something."

Nice new find for us, with high
quality food and service. From beginning to end we all enjoyed our meals very much. The fresh mozzarella and tomato salad was to die for. This restaurant is a real treat if you particularly enjoy conversing with your dinner party. We did not have to raise our voices to speak. The atmosphere is very relaxing with a pianist to add to the mood. We would definitely dine here again. There is also parking next door for a discounted rate."
Dined on 3/22/2014
This place is quirky, and I mean
that in a good way. The space and decor are varied and unusual, food is between very good and delicious (and authentic with some good variations) and the staff unusually friendly and solicitous. The problem is the music: third-rate rock-and-roll from an unknown (and best forgotten) era. I asked it be turned down, which did happen after a few minutes of discomfort as the medium-metal guitars blared on. But then it was deliberately made louder, I asked again and it was turned down, and this cycle happened a third time. I don't know who's making the choice or why, but it feels counter to everything else about the place. I'll try again and hope, it's worth another chance."

Being from out of town, I'm
obviously not familiar with the restaurant scene here, but I had a local Manhattan person recommend FPF to me. I was conducting a business dinner and had seven people. FPF has a wonderful, near private dining area for my group. We had plenty of room and a round table which keeps everyone engaged in the conversation. The entire staff was very attentive, the wine was good and the entrees even better! I'd definitely go back when I'm in town again."
Dined on 3/23/2014
Great food and service. We ordered
the prefix menu and they brought us out several "surprises" as well. Very nice experience and I would definitely go there again."
Dined on 3/21/2014
I love coming here for business
lunches. It's right next to work, clean, friendly and attentive staff, moderately priced with a good lunch special and super convenient. Will continue to use it while I work in the area!"
Dined on 3/13/2014
This was our 2nd visit and it
definitely won't be our last. We were taken here by friends several months ago and couldn't wait to return. We were not disappointed! The food was excellent, wine choices were top-rate. Service is gracious and friendly. The rack of lamb was tender and well flavored. I had the special halibut which was juicy and delicately flavored. Word to the wise--- go easy on the dessert, share--portions are generous."
Dined on 3/8/2014
The restaurant was not crowded so
it was very quiet and we had a wonderful relaxing dinner where we could talk , not shout. There was a party in the back room that we never heard! The special -Brussels sprouts with carmelized onions were excellent."

Excellent lasagna. Pretty decent
prices and nice service"

Fabiola Piccolo Fiore is
everything you read about it in the review pages. The food is wonderful. Delicious not overly complicated comfort food that reminds you of the wonderful meals you may have had in Tuscany. The service is extraordinary. Attentive without being overly so. Nice wine list and great dessert menu. Start with the fried calamari that just melts in your mouth. Then end by sharing the chocolate fondue with friends for a fun end to a great meal. For Manhattan I thought the price was reasonable. With a bottle wine and pasta entrees we dined at just a little over 80 dollars per person. Reasonable in my mind and well worth a visit."
Dined on 2/20/2014
It was as always a nice dinning
experience, this restaurant is really customer centric!"
Dined on 2/18/2014
Each time we have dined here we
have entertained out of town guests who always love the place, the food and the service."
Dined on 2/12/2014
food is full of flavor, friendly
service. Discount on parking. Not the most creative dishes."
Dined on 2/17/2014
I have been here several times and
have always had good experiences. Would definitely recommend it to anyone."
Dined on 2/14/2014
Reasonably priced considering what
some restaurants charge on this day. Food was great!"
Dined on 2/14/2014
The food was excellent as was the
service. although we are familiar with Italian food the waiters were helpful in explaing the dishes. Quick service but not rushed."
Dined on 2/2/2014
The food is perfectly serviceable,
but not extraordinary. That could be forgiven if the service was excellent, but it was not. Servers were highly attentive to the table of gentlemen next to us, but we (a table of women) had difficulty catching anyone's eye. Our server did not ask everyone in our party if they wanted drinks and served with a disdainful attitude. It was as though the server predetermined that he would not be able to up-sell our table, would not receive a satisfactory tip and gave up before he even started. Very disappointing."
Dined on 2/5/2014
We ordered the fish special which
was red snapper from the lunch menu, and we received cod fish instead."
Dined on 2/5/2014
We gathered with friends for a
lovely luncheon. The food and service were equally good and up to a very high standard. The appetizer of octopus salad was excellent and so were the fried calamari. For the main course, I chose the roast pork dish and found it to be tasty indeed."
Dined on 2/4/2014
Excellent Lump Crap Cake Special.
Delicious food. Not incredibly expensive."

We were in NYC for my moms 60th
and had a fabulous dinner. My 5 year old was with us and they didn't make us feel weird for having a child with us. We got there on the earlier side and dinner was great! Excellent service too!"
Dined on 1/18/2014
The plus in this one of MANY
Italian restaurants in this part of Midtown is not the settings, but the food; good, feels like homemade, not too expensive too."
Dined on 1/13/2014
Comida saborosa , bem apresentada
e atendimento perfeito ."

Fiore is a great find for us
coming in from Connecticut for the day as it is only a very short walk from Grand Central. Upon arrival we were greeted warmly and seated promptly. The entire staff was very accommodating and friendly. My wife asked for an alteration of one of the evenings specials and this was no problem at all. Food was served promptly and was delicious. We definitely recommend this restaurant!"
Dined on 12/29/2013
Food was mediocre and service was
meh. We were looking for a place close to grand central and that was about all that this place had to offer. Too bad. Should have just gone to shack shake."
Dined on 12/29/2013
This is my second time dining at
Fabio Piccolo Fiore. The food and service here is impeccable. The restaurant always seems to be empty... I feel like I have found a secret gem! Excellent italian food... no need to go down to Little Italy. Very impressed. :)"
Dined on 12/26/2013
We needed to find a great place to
have our Christmas eve dinner this year. We were visiting NY and our son and this was our first Christmas away from home. Fabio P. Fiore's was wonderful. Searched the internet and Open Table through many restaurants until I found this one. They even had a traditional Seven Fishes dinner available. Food was wonderful especially the lobster salad! The complimentary "Snowball" drink was quite tasty too. I have been to many Italian restaurants and this was one of the best."
Dined on 12/24/2013
My wife and I were so lucky to be
at this restaurant on Christmas day. The drink list was succinct with a great amount of variety. As vegetarians, we also found many options available to us. The flavors were fantastic, the pasta and risotto cooked to perfection and the sauces vibrant in flavor and texture. On top of that, the service was impeccable: attentive and efficient without being over bearing. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an authentic and delicious Italian meal!"
Dined on 12/25/2013
The linguine de mare was
unbelievably good! The wait staff are attentive and friendly. We felt so welcome, and the food was fresh and tasty. The portions are generous and deserts were perfect. Not too much, but enough to share. Try this place, you will not be disappointed."
Dined on 12/24/2013
$24 for the appetizer - rustico
meat and cheese board is unfair when quantity was so small. Should be $12. Calamari - nothing but rings and breading fast food joint like. Branzino for $32 should have table side filleting, but was already prepared fillets. Pasta nicolla was very tasty. Chocolate fondue - little chocolate and cheap pretzels. Restaurant trying to fill a niche just below higher end restaurants. Suggestion to owners, stop engineering to give customers the minimum to fulfill their expectations and try a little harder to exceed them by investing through lowering prices 15% while increasing some of the quantities and quality. You will see return on your investment with increase in customers."
Dined on 12/23/2013
The dining room is comfortable,
pleasant, and quiet. The waiter let us sit without fussing around the table to get us to leave. There was a large group at the front of the restaurant that were celebrating a holiday meal together. There was noise near their table but they were separated enough from the rest of the dining room so that we couldn't hear them at our table. That was great!"
Dined on 12/16/2013
My boyfriend and I enjoyed
ourselves a lot at Fabio Piccolo Fiore! He especially couldn't stop raving about the restaurant! I'm a bit more critical than him, so I can say that while food was tasty, the drinks were perfect, and the atmosphere was pleasing, the service wasn't that great. It's not like I expected the waiter to wait on us hand and foot, but he seemed more preoccupied with God-knows-what while serving us. Thankfully, he wasn't a horrible waiter, just not as attentive as I would've liked him to be. Otherwise, this restaurant was a very nice place to spend our 7-year anniversary! At the end of the night, I'm glad that we went there."
Dined on 12/13/2013
Visited with co-workers. We had an
amazing meal. Only one goof-up...our meals were brought out before our appetizers/soups. The waiter quickly removed our meals, delivered our appetizers/soups. Freshly prepared meals were then delivered and were fantastic. I would highly recommend this for a romantic evening or to bring coworkers/clients for an excellent dinner."
