The food and service is great as usual. We went there on Sept. 4, 2014 and it was wonderful. If you have not tried their home made sausage you must do so!! I tried the Pappardelle Mare & Monti and it was amazing! The shrimp were great and the pasta with the creamy cognac sauce beyond yummy!! They have an interesting wine list but we opted for Morretti beer which was served in a chilled glass and the beer was ice cold. This place is worth driving too!!

The food was absolutely delicious and the service was good my only complaint is that while we were eating there were 2 employees making an extreme amount of noise stacking dishes and silverware behind the bar. Normally that wouldn't bother me but it went this went on for a very long time. We've been there before and did not have that problem so I'm sure it is not a regular thing.

When we sat down, we were pretty hungry and asked about the calamari - came out fast, hot and delicious! There was a little mix up that delayed our main order - but the food was excellent when it came out.

Piccolino's is an intimate restaurant tucked into a small space next to a supermarket in a strip mall. We would never have noticed it if not for Open Table reviews. THIS is a great find! The food is not only delicious, but is all fresh. They bake their own bread too. The service is efficient, & very cordial. The decor is pleasant, & they've fashioned a nice "garden" patio area for outside dining. But the main attraction is the truly delicious Italian cuisine. We've come here probably five times since discovering it several months ago, and have always been delighted! Very relaxed, satisfying dining.

Tried this restaurant for the first time based on the Open Table reviews from other diners. We were very satisfied with the food and the above average atmosphere with dressed tables. Service was good but a little rushed. We dined at 8:00 PM and by 9:00 PM it was obvious that the wait and kitchen staff were anxious for us to be gone so they could go home. Other than that experience, we would definitely go to this restaurant again -- we'd just go on the earlier side. Not a good week night restaurant for late night dining. I'm sure weekend nights would be a different experience with the hours.

Thank you Piccolino for a wonderful quick bite (appetizers) and great service. We love your no corkage policy on specified nights and take advantage of that as much as possible. We went for a very early relaxation time while our child was at a sports practice so we only had 90 minutes. We love Piccolino....it's as simple as that. We brought our favorite bottle of wine and no corkage was charged. We started with calamari appetizer and hubby and I split a salad. Our daughter had a Caesar salad and loved it! She also had Penne (plain with butter and cheese), I had the homemade corkscrew pasta with roasted peppers, eggplant, artichoke hearts, tomatoes and olive oil...it curled my toes. Hubby had Tortino and said it was delicious. Thank you Piccolino for a lovely meal for our family!

Piccolino provided me and my family with a great Mother's Day dinner experience. My wife and I shared the calamari appetizer and it was fresh, hot, crispy and served with a delicious dipping marinara and a squeeze of lemon. My wife ordered the special salmon and they modified it for her with pasta instead of potatoes...she loved it. The salmon was perfectly cooked and seasoned with a side of fresh veggies. I ordered pasta and our daughter ordered pasta and a salad and everyone loved their meals. We will return.

    Dined on 3/15/2014
While in an unfamiliar territory, we used Open Table to locate what we hoped would be an acceptable dining experience. What a DELIGHTFUL surprise! Don't be deterred by Piccolino's "strip mall" location, this is an EXCELLENT restaurant! Tucked into a bit of a corner nook, cleverly positioned potted landscaping "removes" the adjacent parking area from view. The dining spaces present an inviting decor. The wait staff is courteous, attentive, and knowledgable. BUT, the real find here is DELICIOUS Italian food! All of the offerings were prepared with FRESH incredients that come through in the flavors of each dish. They make their own pasta, and bake their own bread fresh daily. Piccolino's is perfect for casual dining, with FINE FOOD!

I am always looking for an excellent Italian restaurant and found one in PIccolino. I had the fusilli with Italian sausage and it was excellent. My colleagues had the halibut and were very pleased. The only problem with the restaurant was that it is small and noise carries in the small room. Had we eaten outside (there were heaters) it might have solved that problem.

We found this restaurant on OpenTable and decided to try it for Mother's Day. We had an 11:30 AM seating. Very few people at the place. We all felt that for a strip mall location this place was way over priced. The food was good but nothing was served with the entree's. There Mother's day lunch was $50 a person and included one glass of champagne. Service was slow.

Located in a strip mall next to a Von's, you would not think much of Piccolino, but the food is AMAZING. Duck confit filled pasta? Fantastic. Great mushroom parmesan truffle sauce (Ravioloni d'Anatra) The lamb chops are incredible, the Tortelloni di Zucca? How can you go wrong with homemade pumpkin filled tortellini? if that doesn't make you drool, the amaretto bread crumbs on it will! Staff is on tope of it and chef Salvatore Faso has proved his point, he smokes like a grass fire.
