Our first time at Piccolino'sOur first time at Piccolino's and it was very enjoyable. The menu was very extensive with many unusual selections. The staff was very attentive. In fact, the owner personally greeted us at the door! We will definitely go back again.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMWait, there is a secondi menu?Located in a strip mall next to a Von's, you would not think much of Piccolino, but the food is AMAZING. Duck confit filled pasta? Fantastic. Great mushroom parmesan truffle sauce (Ravioloni d'Anatra) The lamb chops are incredible, the Tortelloni di Zucca? How can you go wrong with homemade pumpkin filled tortellini? if that doesn't make you drool, the amaretto bread crumbs on it will!
Staff is on tope of it and chef Salvatore Faso has proved his point, he smokes like a grass fire.4/22/2013 12:00:00 AMThe owner of the restaurantThe owner of the restaurant was on site and very accommodating. We ate on the outside patio which was screened from the parking lot making it very pleasant. The food was wonderful and the service very attentive. We loved the fact they we could bring our own wine with no corkage fee.4/18/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat! The restaurant is very intimate and comfy. Great for people who want to dine in a quiet place, have great food and some wine.4/1/2013 12:00:00 AMTerrific. Outstanding serviceTerrific. Outstanding service and the outdoor patio is lovely. Despite being in a shopping center, they do a great job of recreating a lovely outdoor scene that allows you to forget where you are for the duration of your meal. Food was fairly simple and not noteworthy, but the atmosphere and service makes up for it.3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMService was outstanding plusService was outstanding plus the owner comes out to check on you and introduce himself. He even knew it was our first time in and welcomed us. The food is very good! Most items such as pasta and pizza dough are made in house. Great find!3/21/2013 12:00:00 AM
