Established in 2007, Italian dining at Piccolino serves regional Italian cuisine, including artisan made pasta, fresh wild caught fish and the finest meats and poultry available on the market daily.

  • "We love Piccolino....it's as simple as that. We brought our favorite bottle of wine and no corkage was charged. We started with calamari appetizer and hubby and I split a salad. Our daughter had a Caesar salad and loved it! She also had Penne (plain with butter and cheese), I had the homemade corkscrew pasta with roasted peppers, eggplant, artichoke hearts, tomatoes and olive oil...it curled my toes. Hubby had Tortino and said it was delicious. Thank you Piccolino for a lovely meal for our family!"

My wife and I shared the calamari appetizer and it was fresh, hot, crispy and served with a delicious dipping marinara and a squeeze of lemon. My wife ordered the special salmon and they modified it for her with pasta instead of potatoes...she loved it. The salmon was perfectly cooked and seasoned with a side of fresh veggies. I ordered pasta and our daughter ordered pasta and a salad and everyone loved their meals. We will return."

Don't be deterred by Piccolino's "strip mall" location, this is an EXCELLENT restaurant! Tucked into a bit of a corner nook, cleverly positioned potted landscaping "removes" the adjacent parking area from view. The dining spaces present an inviting decor. The wait staff is courteous, attentive, and knowledgable. BUT, the real find here is DELICIOUS Italian food! All of the offerings were prepared with FRESH incredients that come through in the flavors of each dish. They make their own pasta, and bake their own bread fresh daily. Piccolino's is perfect for casual dining, with FINE FOOD!"

  • "I am always looking for an excellent Italian restaurant and found one in PIccolino. I had the fusilli with Italian sausage and it was excellent. My colleagues had the halibut and were very pleased. The only problem with the restaurant was that it is small and noise carries in the small room. Had we eaten outside (there were heaters) it might have solved that problem."

We all felt that for a strip mall location this place was way over priced. The food was good but nothing was served with the entree's. There Mother's day lunch was $50 a person and included one glass of champagne. Service was slow."

  • "Located in a strip mall next to a Von's, you would not think much of Piccolino, but the food is AMAZING. Duck confit filled pasta? Fantastic. Great mushroom parmesan truffle sauce (Ravioloni d'Anatra) The lamb chops are incredible, the Tortelloni di Zucca? How can you go wrong with homemade pumpkin filled tortellini? if that doesn't make you drool, the amaretto bread crumbs on it will! Staff is on tope of it and chef Salvatore Faso has proved his point, he smokes like a grass fire."

  • "After my first visit to Piccolino I couldn't wait to go back. When I did, on a recent Saturday evening, the food was still delicious but the service so poor we left to have dessert elsewhere. The restaurant was nearly empty when we arrived yet we were shown a table in an undesirable spot. I asked for a different table-pointing to a specific one and was told it was reserved. The waiter then retreated to the back to discuss with others where he should "put them." In a small restaurant, every word can be heard. We were seated at a table for six near the kitchen entrance. Go figure. Every word from the kitchen staff could be heard as they brushed past us to go in and out. And Osso Buco for $35? Service needs to improve to warrant that price!"

  • "We celebrated Valentine's Day at Piccolino's this year. As always, the food was terrific, as was the service. This was a very busy night for them. All the tables were taken by 6:00, but the wait staff didn't miss a beat. While they had a special menu for Valentine's Day for $50 per person, they also let customers order ala carte if they preferred. And early birds like us were able to order from the regular menu. We have never been disappointed in Piccolino's and this visit was no exception."

  • "This is truly a wonderful dining experience. They have a wide variety of dishes, not just pasta and pizza. Everything is prepared to perfection. The wait staff is very friendly and attentive. Hopefully this restaurant will continue to thrive and will at some time be able to expand into a somewhat larger facility. They are able to seat a number of groups, but half must eat in the outside covered and heated patio. When the weather doesn't cooperate (think Santa Ana winds or blustery rain), that can be an issue. They could easily fill a somewhat larger establishment. This restaurant will continue to be one of our favorite to visit, regardless of where they are located."
