That all changed once you pass through the door. This family operated restaurant is the most welcoming and friendly spot I've been to in a long time.
The chef greets you and helps you to your seats. He's the one that explains the specials and answers any questions that you have on the menu. His appetizer suggestion was the eggplant parmigiana. My girlfriend eats eggplant parmigiana at every Italian restaurant we go to and this is by far the best either of us have ever had. We could go back and have this as our appetizer, dinner, and even more to take home for later. A small, neighborhood Italian restaurant where from the moment you get there you are treated like family. No request too small or too difficult. Question - Which would you choose the veal marsala or the penne a la vodak; answer from owner - simple, I will give you the veal marsala and prepare some penne a la vodka on the side. Both excellent. Also ordered veal parm special and it was excellent. Small, neighborhood Italian restaurant where the owner and his team go out of their way to make you feel welcome.
