"The restaurant was very accomodating and had a great atmosphere of old world Italian. Food was very good and fresh. Prices were somewhat high, so not a place we'd go on a regular basis. We were there for my mom's birthday dinner and unfortunately, as the place got busier, they forgot her and my daughter's capuccinos"

"We had a 7 pm reservation on a Sat. Night. The place was packed and we were seated immediately. So packed they were temporarily out of menus, but our waiter described all of the speacials and said they would make anything we want. Service was a little slow, but that was to be expected and we were with another couple we hadn't seen for a while and we needed time to catch up anyway. Even with all the chaos, the food was spectaular as always ( I come here every chance I get to Astoria). this is easily the best restaurant in Queens and one of the best in NY. It is worth a trip from anywhere. One of the finest wine lists you will ever see. (try the Marchese @ $75 it's a steal)."

"Everytime I return to Piccola Venezia it just keeps getting better and better. The food and service are great!! The only complaint I had was they had the air conditioner on in March and that it was too cold so bring your jacket. Can't wait to return!! :)"

"Piccola Venezia is my favorite restaurant in NYC. It's not in Manhattan but Astoria. It is still family owned and feels this way from the moment you leave the car with the valet. (Yes, a restaurant you can drive to! No cost, just tip the valet nicely.) Family and waiters alike kiss you hello. The excellent staff never changes and has been there forever. Specials are displayed as if you just entered a restaurant in Milan or Venice. It is northern Italian food, and it is delicious. The pumpkin ravioli is outstanding -- I've never had better. Seafood is served perfectly chilled. Meats perfectly fresh and done. Lots of fresh fish -- anyway you would like it prepared. An absolute treat. Also, they kindly welcome three generations!"
