Picasso - BellagioAmazing dinner! My wife and I were celebrating our second anniversary.
Decided to try Picasso. What a great restaurant. Amazing service, food was breathtaking.
Would love to come back again!!6/15/2013 12:00:00 AMAmazing experience! We didn't know what to expect from Picasso. We knew the chef was famous, the wine list was extensive, and the artwork would be stunning, but we had no idea what an amazing night we would have! We chose 1 of 2 two tasting menu options, which change on a daily basis. Honestly some of the most mouth watering food we have ever eaten. The wine list was incredible, but we decided to do the wine pairing option. The sommelier's choices were awesome! Each glass matched the dish perfectly. The whole experience - food, plating, wine, service, atmosphere -it was just a perfect night! Right down to the take home gifts of boxes of fresh chocolate mini muffins! Can't wait to go back!6/15/2013 12:00:00 AMOne of the best in Las VegasA very enjoyable meal that should be reserved for special occasions, as it can be pricey. Excellent food and superb matching wines.
An amazing wine list. The "Picasso themed" decor, including the serving plates, completes the overall unique setting of the restaurant. If available, reserve a table with a view of the fountains. The service was superb.6/15/2013 12:00:00 AMThe Sommelier was superb. The Sommelier was superb. Yu could tell how much he loved his life's work, was knowledgeable and selected excellent and unique pairings. Our server was efficient but did not smile and was not personable. Two of the courses had an excess amount of fat and gristle.6/14/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful experienceMy husband & I had dinner at Picasso on Friday night. It was a truly memorable experience. The service was impeccable - friendly, responsive, & helpful, without being overbearing or intrusive. The decor is amazing! It was like being in a museum & it felt very special to be so close to such incredible works of art.
The food was simply delicious. It's been a few days, and I am still thinking about the seared fois gras. Decadent, mouth-watering, crispy on the outside, juicy and luscious on this inside. Every aspect of the meal was absolutely divine.
We asked ahead of time for a view of the fountains. Watching the fountains while having our wonderfully delicious meal was spectacular!6/14/2013 12:00:00 AMFABULOUS - Bring your wallet!!!!!This was fabulous. Food was incredible - we had one tasting menu and one price fixed. Both incredible. Service had a little hiccup and food arrived without the wine to accompany, but other than that wonderful. VERY EXPENSIVE $450 for 2 people.6/14/2013 12:00:00 AMSuperb ExperienceThe best restaurant experience of our lives. We have eaten in fine restaurants all over the world, but nothing tops our recent dinner at Picasso. The service was gracious and efficient; the food divine. The view of the Bellagio fountains from our window table was magic. It was a perfect way to celebrate my wife's birthday.6/10/2013 12:00:00 AMWorthy IndulgencePicasso was the highlight of my stay in Vegas. The menu is superb, and I highly recommend ordering the wine pairings to accompany the menu. Chef Serrano has created a real gem here; from the food to the wine to the service to the ambience, there is not a single wrong note.6/10/2013 12:00:00 AMPicasso at the BellagioWe booked this restaurant for a special occasion.
It did not disappoint. The degustation menu with the wine pairing was outstanding.
Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and the experience was also informative.
The overall experience was comparable to European fine dining at it's best.
Thanks for a great evening6/10/2013 12:00:00 AMThis restaurant certainlyThis restaurant certainly deserves the Five-Diamond rating it received. Our food was fantastic and the service was great. The Prix Fixe and Degustation menus were interesting. The poached oysters, fois gras, and day boat scallop were especially outstanding.6/9/2013 12:00:00 AMLas Vegas GemReally special in every way....food, service ambiance. Being from NYC we didn't want to eat in one of the high end restaurants we have at home. Picasso can challenge all f them.6/7/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat spotGreat place, good view, great service. Only negative is that the food wouldn't be out of place in the middle of winter in a Swiss chalet; a little out of place and season for the middle of Nevada in the summer.6/6/2013 12:00:00 AMWowThis was mt second visit to Picassos and it was fantastic, my 50 birthday dinner was incredable will be back real soon congratulations6/6/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat ambience & experience but...I couldn't have asked for anything more in terms of location and ambience. We dined on the patio and for that brief moment in time, we could easily have imagined that we were sitting on the private balcony of an Italian villa overlooking a lake. Being that close to the Bellagio fountain was a truly memorable experience. That positive experience more than compensated for the food, which did not quite live up to expectations. We decided on the tasting menu. Nothing was wrong, in fact, it was quite good. But I couldn't help feel that at one time, it may have been spectacular but then transformed to something more aligned with an food assembly line like approach. Great experience overall, as the location with stay in your memory, food may not.6/3/2013 12:00:00 AMAn ExperienceDIning at Picasso was an amazing experience. The service and the quality of the food were both outstanding. Definitely recommend the wine pairings as the sommelier gives you a full description of each wine and some background on the wine as it is served with the appropriate course. This is the first time I have visited one of the top restaurants in Vegas and left thinking it was actually worth the high price! Would highly recommend!6/1/2013 12:00:00 AMWow!Classy without being pretentious. We were fortunate enough to dine on the patio, where we were entertained by the fountains at Bellagio while eating an incredible meal with a truly magnificent wine pairing. The foie gras was mouth watering. Definitely worth the expense.5/30/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat experienceOverall a great place. The view is spectacular and the food was just as good. An engagement happened during dinner which set the aesthetic even further into the romantic territory, with the hostess gracious enough to take the pictures for that couples special event. Will go again in the future.5/26/2013 12:00:00 AMSilver Wedding CelebrationWe choose this Restaurant for dinner on our silver wedding evening with our children and their friends. We were lucky to get a table for six outside just in front of the famous Bellagio water fountains. We enjoyed the first class menue and the excellent service in front of the fountains. A very memorable evening. Coming from Germany the third time to Las Vegas, this evening will always stay in our minds. Thank you Picasso.5/26/2013 12:00:00 AMOne of the best in Las VegasThis was the second time to Picasso. I'll start off with my praise. Love the atmosphere and love the food. On the plus side, the staff was very welcoming and our waiter took our camera and took pictures of us sitting in the restaurant from several different angles in order to capture us with various Picasso paintings in the background. On the negative side, when our first course was delivered, there was not explaination of what were receiving; but, there was explaination for the other courses. At the end of the meal noticed that other tables had recieved a final desert offering from the kitchen and we didnt' receive ours. Also noticed that another table had been given a book that described each of the paintings and not us.5/25/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful 44th Anniversary Dinner! My wife and I enjoyed a delicious and wonderfully prepared and presented Degustation Menu with the premium wine pairing. After checking in with our reservation we were promptly seated in a corner window seat with a beautiful view of the Bellagio fountains. Our lead server did an excellent job in explaining the menu options and when asked about the wine pairing he quickly signaled the sommelier to come over to our table and explain. Each dish from the Amuse Bouche to the Dessert had great presentation, had superb taste, and were timed perfectly. All in all, a very pleasing anniversary dinner which we leisurely enjoyed over our 2 1/2 hour celebration.5/24/2013 12:00:00 AMMemorable DinnerNice food, beautiful setting, very attentive service, amazing wine paring -
what else would you wish for a romantic dinner?
Definitely recommend Picasso!5/23/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat ViewIf you sit outside: the incredible fountains of Bellagio... If you sit inside: Picasso paintings... Very nice and lovely staff and great food!5/23/2013 12:00:00 AMDelicious food, great atmosphereDefinitely pricey but worth the cost.
I had a lovely dinner by myself and my seat overlooked the beautiful Bellagio fountains. The restaurant is dark, quiet and lovely artworks/flowers. I selected the $115 Prix Fixe menu:
-Creme of Butternut Squash with 3 mini marshmallows and mushrooms
-Filet of Black Bass - OMG - to DIE for
-Tai Snapper
-Cheesecake with blueberry sorbet
-plate of assorted chocolates / candies
Each bite was worth every bite. The service is perfect all around. When you leave, you get a box of 2 mini muffins. It is a perfect restaurant for a romantic evening or to impress business associates. I will definitely be back.5/19/2013 12:00:00 AMA Cirque du Soleil ExperienceDining at Picasso felt like a theatrical experience; well choreographed, with amazing performers all dedicated to presenting the star of the show (the food) in all its glory in a seamless, fluid manner. The food was stunning. The poached oysters, foie gras, lamb and desserts were all standouts. Flavors were distinct, bold, yet were held with restraint. You could tell the chef had mastered his craft without needing to show boat his ego. The food was refined with great flavor rather than brash, hit you over the head, see what I can do with flavor profiles. It takes a team to pull it off and at Picasso, they did! We'll be back.5/19/2013 12:00:00 AMWill go back!Absolutely a 4 star experience! Having dined throughout the world, you can't do much better than this! Chef Serrano makes sure every single bite is not only beautiful but mouth watering. It's food that you will remember and treasure!5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMConundrumSo how do you give a perfect score for everything but come away feeling just a little disappointed?
Every part of the evening was perfect. The service, especially the sommelier, was as good as it gets. I especially appreciated the free taste of some 1875 port after a lively discussion on port wine. But ....for $850 for 2 people - I expect a French Laundry experience and the evening did fall short of that. But a memorable dinner and we will certainly return.5/17/2013 12:00:00 AMPerfect but....How can I rate this 5 stars but still leave a little disappointed.
When spending almost $500 per head I expect a French Laundry Level experience and this falls slightly below that.
$300 per head I would have no issues.
Service was great, the room was fabulous, Sommelier was spot on, food A plus. Very accommodating as well.
Will be back.5/17/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent! We had a great time at Picasso. We were hoping for a outside table to watch the fountain show but were unable to get one for dinner. The staff moved us to the outside tables for our dessert which was amazing and greatly appreciated. The food was amazing, everything tasted great and service was exceptional. We will be back!5/17/2013 12:00:00 AMChef J. Serrano was so accommodatinWe enjoyed everything about Picasso. Excellent food, ambience, service.5/15/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat service but not pretentiousThe food is great and the service is excellent but what I liked was that the staff was that the atmosphere was friendly and not stuffy. It is pricey but worth it for a splurge.5/13/2013 12:00:00 AMwonderful eveningThe tasting menu was excellent. good choices of food and very tasty. Lovely view of the fountains5/13/2013 12:00:00 AMAsk for patio seatGot the patio seat and got the best view for the bellagio fountain. Birthday and anniversary dinner was amazing. Love the pre-theater course worth every penny. Would go back again for another special occassion.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMFANTASTIC!...Wow, what a great overall experience! Food was superb great flavours, service impeccable (even the Robert the sommelier, whom I usually find a bit pretentious at these establishments). Perfect wine pairings with each course. Just a wonderful evening set on the patio overlooking the Bellagio fountains. We will be back again soon.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMExpensive but worth it!The food was very good in general. Fra Gras was excellent. The restaurant was at the side of the fountain so the view was fabulous. This is the best restaurant I have tried so far.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMLike eating in a MuseumFantastic meal, Great service, Great Food.
It was fun to eat with real Picasso paintings hanging just behind our table.
Much better that Prime next door.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat for vegetarians. If you are inside you can not hear the music from the water show but you can see the spectacle. The food at Picasso is divine and the vegetarian option is especially wonderful. The decor is rich and warm. The service is impeccable. If you can afford to eat here, you should do it.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMEpic. Sit outside if it is nice!A wonderful meal and a beautiful experience. We sat outside, which has a front row seat to the fountain show. The food was amazing, the staff was friendly and incredibly knowledgeable, and the whole experience was just simply wonderful.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMFABULOUS FOOD, FABULOUS SERVICE,FABULOUS FOOD, FABULOUS SERVICE, FABULOUS AMBIENCE, FABULOUS DECOR5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellentBetter than many michelin 3 star restaurants i have been to. The foi gras was perfect. The sommelier was a great asset. Highly recommend. And for the level of service and quality of food, the price is very reasonable.5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMAttention to Detail! This was fine dining at it's best, in our experience. From the moment we arrived we were treated as valued guests by every member of their staff, though we'd never been there before. The service and quality of the meal were exceptional. We felt it was good value for the Degustation Menu given the outstanding quality and beautiful presentation. The room was lovely with just the right amount of activity, the noise never overtaking our conversation. Every table offers views of the spectacular Picasso's so there are no bad seats. One of our very best dining experiences, anywhere.5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent food and serviceExcellent food and service made this a special dinner.5/9/2013 12:00:00 AMPicasso--perfectionWe ate at the Picasso while in town for a convention. The food and ambiance are magnificent. The restaurant looks out over the fountains at the Bellagio. As we enjoyed our exquisite food and wine, the fountains put on a visual water and light show that made the evening one we will not soon forget. Our dinner lasted 2.5 hrs. Considering the amount of food we were served, this was perfect as we had plenty of time for each food & wine pairing to settle before moving on to the next. Our server was attentive, the sommlier instructive, and food excellent. Will come back again even tho it is the most we've ever spent on a meal. Highly recommend.5/6/2013 12:00:00 AMImpressive paintings but...To keep this short:
Food was good, not great. Oysters poached with caviar and vermouth cream sauce were phenomenal. The menu doesn't really change, so I found it unacceptable that they were out of the deer, and the pigeon also ran out after we ordered! The lamb was good, I've had same quality elsewhere for much less, and the pigeon was overly gamey, again...had better elsewhere. The desserts were pretty average.
The wine pairings were perfect.
Service was gracious and attentive.
If you eat indoors you will not be able to hear the music for the fountains FYI.
All in all, not an exceptional food experience.5/6/2013 12:00:00 AMnot stuffy at allwe had a great experience. our table looked out on the Bellagio pond and the "Eiffel Tower" beyond. the room itself was warm, comfortable. the staff was friendly, eager and on top of things. the picasso's on the walls, etc - not many that you've probably seen before - and very suitable.
I was originally a bit put off because the website said "Jackets Preferred"... and it was in the 90's that day - but, it was my own problem as many of the others had enough sense to forgo the jacket. one elderly fellow even saw fit to wear wear baggy jeans and a red-orange t-shirt. and although he did not appear french, he seemed perfectly happy.
the food - perfect. the Spanish wine we had - like mountain spring water...
we'll eagerly be back.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMa gemPicasso is a lovely, elegant refuge from the crush and chaos that is the Las Vegas Strip. It provides an excellent vantage for the fountain show on the lake at Bellagio . The food was delicious - best-quality ingredients, prepared in unique ways that didn't distract from the flavors. The portions on the price fixe menu were reasonable instead of ridiculous; with every course, my wife and I would have eaten one more bite if it had been there. Isn't that the maxim of the master showman - leave 'em wanting more? Our principal server, Jason, was delightful - the ease of an accomplished professional, along with genuine warmth and humor.
Bellagio is a thing well done, and I admire a thing well done. Picasso makes Bellagio better.5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMMostly Mixed ReviewThere aren't very many options to choose from on the menu, which left us with some dishes that we would not have otherwise ordered. Some were excellent (sea bass, fallow deer), while a few others we didn't even want to finish (pigeon). The quail salad was a let down after how much we had heard about it. For this amount of money, there are definitely better options on the strip.5/1/2013 12:00:00 AMamazing!!風景好,食物好吃,服務好!!物超所值!!值得推薦,一定要來吃!
Great view, delicious food ,perfect service. I really recommend , YOU MUST COME TO EAT !!!!!
VERY ENJOY ENJOY!!5/1/2013 12:00:00 AMPrix Fixe menu. Quail saladPrix Fixe menu. Quail salad ok. A little too much like fried chicken. Try something else. Fois Gras was wonderful. Good portion. Veal chop and fallow deer both excellent. The very best was the wine pairings for $58. Wines you probably never had but all outstanding and creatively paired. Good pours make this a great deal. Made the whole experience wonderful. Beautiful room, excellent service, Bellagio fountain show all evening. Great experience.4/29/2013 12:00:00 AMWOW ... In VegasI'm a foodie from New York, so I did't expect to find any spot in Vegas that would measure up to NYC's finest restaurants. I was wrong. Picasso was amazing on so many different levels. My wife and I settled sat on a beautiful evening on the patio and we were serenaded by the wonderful fountain show at Bellagio every 15 minutes or so. Our meal was extraordinary from appetizer to dessert. Poached oysters, followed by foie gras then roasted pigeon made for the perfect meal. My wife enjoyed the butter nut squash soup, followed by the shrimp and the fallow deer for dinner. She loved every bite. What could possibly be better than a wonderful meal and evening with a fountain show. If I ever get back to Las Vegas, I will certainly return4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMgot table on the patio ingot table on the patio in front of the fountain, service was top notch. food was amazing, definitely worth the money4/24/2013 12:00:00 AM
