Picasso - BellagioGreat service but not pretentiousThe food is great and the service is excellent but what I liked was that the staff was that the atmosphere was friendly and not stuffy. It is pricey but worth it for a splurge.5/13/2013 12:00:00 AMAsk for patio seatGot the patio seat and got the best view for the bellagio fountain. Birthday and anniversary dinner was amazing. Love the pre-theater course worth every penny. Would go back again for another special occassion.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMFANTASTIC!...Wow, what a great overall experience! Food was superb great flavours, service impeccable (even the Robert the sommelier, whom I usually find a bit pretentious at these establishments). Perfect wine pairings with each course. Just a wonderful evening set on the patio overlooking the Bellagio fountains. We will be back again soon.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMExpensive but worth it!The food was very good in general. Fra Gras was excellent. The restaurant was at the side of the fountain so the view was fabulous. This is the best restaurant I have tried so far.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMLike eating in a MuseumFantastic meal, Great service, Great Food.
It was fun to eat with real Picasso paintings hanging just behind our table.
Much better that Prime next door.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat for vegetarians. If you are inside you can not hear the music from the water show but you can see the spectacle. The food at Picasso is divine and the vegetarian option is especially wonderful. The decor is rich and warm. The service is impeccable. If you can afford to eat here, you should do it.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMEpic. Sit outside if it is nice!A wonderful meal and a beautiful experience. We sat outside, which has a front row seat to the fountain show. The food was amazing, the staff was friendly and incredibly knowledgeable, and the whole experience was just simply wonderful.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellentBetter than many michelin 3 star restaurants i have been to. The foi gras was perfect. The sommelier was a great asset. Highly recommend. And for the level of service and quality of food, the price is very reasonable.5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMFABULOUS FOOD, FABULOUS SERVICE,FABULOUS FOOD, FABULOUS SERVICE, FABULOUS AMBIENCE, FABULOUS DECOR5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMAttention to Detail! This was fine dining at it's best, in our experience. From the moment we arrived we were treated as valued guests by every member of their staff, though we'd never been there before. The service and quality of the meal were exceptional. We felt it was good value for the Degustation Menu given the outstanding quality and beautiful presentation. The room was lovely with just the right amount of activity, the noise never overtaking our conversation. Every table offers views of the spectacular Picasso's so there are no bad seats. One of our very best dining experiences, anywhere.5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent food and serviceExcellent food and service made this a special dinner.5/9/2013 12:00:00 AMPicasso--perfectionWe ate at the Picasso while in town for a convention. The food and ambiance are magnificent. The restaurant looks out over the fountains at the Bellagio. As we enjoyed our exquisite food and wine, the fountains put on a visual water and light show that made the evening one we will not soon forget. Our dinner lasted 2.5 hrs. Considering the amount of food we were served, this was perfect as we had plenty of time for each food & wine pairing to settle before moving on to the next. Our server was attentive, the sommlier instructive, and food excellent. Will come back again even tho it is the most we've ever spent on a meal. Highly recommend.5/6/2013 12:00:00 AMImpressive paintings but...To keep this short:
Food was good, not great. Oysters poached with caviar and vermouth cream sauce were phenomenal. The menu doesn't really change, so I found it unacceptable that they were out of the deer, and the pigeon also ran out after we ordered! The lamb was good, I've had same quality elsewhere for much less, and the pigeon was overly gamey, again...had better elsewhere. The desserts were pretty average.
The wine pairings were perfect.
Service was gracious and attentive.
If you eat indoors you will not be able to hear the music for the fountains FYI.
All in all, not an exceptional food experience.5/6/2013 12:00:00 AMnot stuffy at allwe had a great experience. our table looked out on the Bellagio pond and the "Eiffel Tower" beyond. the room itself was warm, comfortable. the staff was friendly, eager and on top of things. the picasso's on the walls, etc - not many that you've probably seen before - and very suitable.
I was originally a bit put off because the website said "Jackets Preferred"... and it was in the 90's that day - but, it was my own problem as many of the others had enough sense to forgo the jacket. one elderly fellow even saw fit to wear wear baggy jeans and a red-orange t-shirt. and although he did not appear french, he seemed perfectly happy.
the food - perfect. the Spanish wine we had - like mountain spring water...
we'll eagerly be back.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMa gemPicasso is a lovely, elegant refuge from the crush and chaos that is the Las Vegas Strip. It provides an excellent vantage for the fountain show on the lake at Bellagio . The food was delicious - best-quality ingredients, prepared in unique ways that didn't distract from the flavors. The portions on the price fixe menu were reasonable instead of ridiculous; with every course, my wife and I would have eaten one more bite if it had been there. Isn't that the maxim of the master showman - leave 'em wanting more? Our principal server, Jason, was delightful - the ease of an accomplished professional, along with genuine warmth and humor.
Bellagio is a thing well done, and I admire a thing well done. Picasso makes Bellagio better.5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMamazing!!風景好,食物好吃,服務好!!物超所值!!值得推薦,一定要來吃!
Great view, delicious food ,perfect service. I really recommend , YOU MUST COME TO EAT !!!!!
VERY ENJOY ENJOY!!5/1/2013 12:00:00 AMPrix Fixe menu. Quail saladPrix Fixe menu. Quail salad ok. A little too much like fried chicken. Try something else. Fois Gras was wonderful. Good portion. Veal chop and fallow deer both excellent. The very best was the wine pairings for $58. Wines you probably never had but all outstanding and creatively paired. Good pours make this a great deal. Made the whole experience wonderful. Beautiful room, excellent service, Bellagio fountain show all evening. Great experience.4/29/2013 12:00:00 AMWOW ... In VegasI'm a foodie from New York, so I did't expect to find any spot in Vegas that would measure up to NYC's finest restaurants. I was wrong. Picasso was amazing on so many different levels. My wife and I settled sat on a beautiful evening on the patio and we were serenaded by the wonderful fountain show at Bellagio every 15 minutes or so. Our meal was extraordinary from appetizer to dessert. Poached oysters, followed by foie gras then roasted pigeon made for the perfect meal. My wife enjoyed the butter nut squash soup, followed by the shrimp and the fallow deer for dinner. She loved every bite. What could possibly be better than a wonderful meal and evening with a fountain show. If I ever get back to Las Vegas, I will certainly return4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMgot table on the patio ingot table on the patio in front of the fountain, service was top notch. food was amazing, definitely worth the money4/24/2013 12:00:00 AMPicassoOutstanding food, service, and atmosphere. We actually chose to eat out on the terrace,as the weather was very nice. I would highly recommend for dinner.4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMMy wife and like this placeMy wife and like this place for the feel of everything special: the decorations (Picasso paintings), the food (Serrano is a genius), the service.
I had Foie Gras au Tourchon and Fallow Deer, and after a few days I still remember the delicate and multidimensional taste of it.4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMF.A.B.U.L.O.U.S.!!Dinner at Picasso was one of the highlights of our Vegas trip! We had a table by the windows, which I highly recommend for the additional ambience if the view of the Bellagio fountains. Each course our meal was so perfectly prepared, and served with such expert attention to our every need! Daniel, Jose, Jason and everyone we engaged were fantastic and made our evening so very memorable!! As Foodies to the core, this is absolutely one of my highest recommendations when you are visiting Vegas.4/18/2013 12:00:00 AMYou know what to expect fromYou know what to expect from a place with 2 Michelin stars.
Excellent food and service! Perfect!!!4/18/2013 12:00:00 AMWe went for our 10th anniversary. We went for our 10th anniversary. Got a table in front of the fountains at the Bellagio. Our French waiter was fantastic. We had the delectable tasting menu with wine pairing. The foie gras was to die for. Wines were a perfect match. Dessert was a work of art. Just sitting in the midst of all their Picasso paintings was amazing.
Would go back in a heartbeat.4/14/2013 12:00:00 AMMy wife and I have been goingMy wife and I have been going to Las Vegas for over 10 years, and have eaten at most of the top-name restaurants on and off the Strip. Bellagio ---our favorite LV hotel ---is home to two of our favorites --Le Cirque and Picasso. Initially, we thought Le Cirque was superior ---but beginning two or three years ago, Picasso overtook it in our estimation. Picasso has become a truly World Class restaurant; the food is unbelieveable and the service is always impeccable. We visit Las Vegas once a year, usually for 4 nights each time. And we always make sure to dine at Picasso twice in those four days. If you're travelling to Vegas and have not yet tried Picasso, do yourself a favor. It is truly a gem.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMEach course was off the map! Each course was off the map! I had the venison.........cooked to perfection. My wife, the seafood so, surf and turf and sharing. The wine pairings were extraordinary as well. Truly a fantastic restaurant.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMA wonderful dining experience.A wonderful dining experience. can't wait to go back.4/12/2013 12:00:00 AMCan't lose with this oneWow, chefs tasting menu with wine pairing was over the top. Wine steward was on his game, friendly and informative, and how do you beat the Bellagio Fountains as a backdrop. Careful if you take a table outside, you will get a shower if the wind is right.4/12/2013 12:00:00 AMThe food was delicious, theThe food was delicious, the service unobtrusive, and the ambiance lovely. We arrrived early, tired of the Strip, and they were able to seat us right way. What a relaxing evening!4/11/2013 12:00:00 AMEXPENSIVE FOR THE FOODA bit expensive for the type of food. The starter and main courses were OK but the desert not too good.
The waiter forgot the expresso coffe and after remind him he brought the coffe in a cup for breakfast (medium size cup).4/11/2013 12:00:00 AMSimply fabulous; was an epicureanSimply fabulous; was an epicurean feast. Pricey but worth every penny for those that really appreciate food done extraordinarily well.4/8/2013 12:00:00 AMCould have not loved it more!Could have not loved it more! Amazing, but expensive and totally worth it.4/8/2013 12:00:00 AMAbsolutely superb, with anAbsolutely superb, with an excellent wine list. The view of the fountains is quite nice, of course.4/8/2013 12:00:00 AMAmazing!!!We had amazing food and the best service we could ask for.4/7/2013 12:00:00 AMStunning for special occasions. We dined in Picassos to celebrate getting married just hours earlier over Vegas in a helicopter. The food was absolutely out of this world; just delicious. The waiting staff were extremely attentive and answered any queries we had regarding the menu. The wine list was extensive (and extremely expensive) but we had cocktails instead which were delicious and in our view still complimented the meal. By dessert we were absolutely fit to burst but did not want to leave a morsel of delicious food to waste!
The atmosphere was perfectly romantic and intimate and it was amazing to be surrounded by real Picasso paintings. The staff even assisted my aunt in placing a congratulatory card on our table having arranged it from the UK via email.4/4/2013 12:00:00 AMThis was the best dining experienceThis was the best dining experience during my 4-day stay in Las Vegas. Every course was delicious, and the wine pairing was perfect. The service was exemplary. I can't say enough about this restaurant....it was worth every penny!4/4/2013 12:00:00 AMWe took my 80 year old motherWe took my 80 year old mother to Picasso as part of her birthday celebration. From the moment we got to the restaurant through the time we reluctantly left at the end of the meal we were all made to feel like welcome guests instead of customers. The food was good beyond words, each course left us running out of adjectives, the wine pairing exquisite. They were very accommodating in dealing with the food allergies in our group, suggesting substitute dishes even though we were having the degustation menu. Every member of the staff we dealt with was friendly and helpful. By the end of the meal my mother felt like a queen and the rest of us were thrilled with the entire experience.4/4/2013 12:00:00 AMA lasting memory.Simply the best restaurant on the strip! The staff is very attentive to meeting any needs you have. The food is like nothing I've ever experienced. The attention to detail that goes into every coure will leave you amazed. We chose the outdoor dining area and it literally felt as if we were sitting on the water. Picasso's art fills the entire dining area with brilliance. Definitely a must do.4/3/2013 12:00:00 AMDelicious poached oysters!Very nice restaurant with great food. Min. per person is about $115 + tax since the meals come in set course menu (4 course). Their poached oysters is the best!!! So there is like two appetizer and one main course dish and one dessert. This is my second time here and both time I got a cup of soup (size of long shot glass) and a small one bite appetizer with it so I assume there is like a bonus appetizer? Also at the end you get a box with 2 chocolate chip muffins in it as a gift. Like I said, their poached oysters is the BEST!! Yum yum, I have to go back for it!4/3/2013 12:00:00 AMPicasso was excellent. WePicasso was excellent. We sat outside and watched the fountain show throughout dinner. The service was excellent. There were two fixed menus to choose from, each having several choices for the main entree. The food was presented in the most artistic way. All the items were delicious, with appropriate portion sizes. If you are able to splurge while in Vega...highly recommended.3/29/2013 12:00:00 AMAmazing everything!I made a reservation at Picasso for my mom and I before our trip to Las Vegas in March, 2013. It was my third time to the city and my mom's first, and dinner out this night was my birthday gift to her. I made note of that in my reservation. My mom had the prix fixe while I went for the dégustation menu. Both dinners were amazing. We stayed for almost three hours, watching the fountains and enjoying some of the best service I've ever experienced at a restaurant (Thanks Roger!) They even brought out a special birthday dessert for mom--a lovely touch!
Bring your camera!!! They encourage you to take photos of/with the Picassos!!! If I could rate this ten stars, I would. Simply stunning...3/25/2013 12:00:00 AMWorthy of a SplurgeI was really blown away by my experience at Picasso. I've never eaten at an establishment of this caliber, so naturally I'm leaning towards raving praise. The food was perfect. In every sense of the word, the flavor, the appearance, the temperature, the texture, you name it: the food was perfection. The portions were generous. By the end of the meal, my girlfriend and I were ready to pop. If you're going to be enjoying a meal from Picasso, skip lunch and go all day hungry! The food will be so much more enjoyable. The outdoor seating is absolutely ridiculous. Amazing to ponder what man-made beauty humanity can conjure. At times we forgot we were eating, upon being mesmerized by the Bellagio fountains.3/25/2013 12:00:00 AMMost romantic dinner for twoIt was a perfect evening at Picasso - a wedding dinner just for two. We arrived early, were warmly welcomed and shown to the lounge waiting area while a special romantic table with incredible views of the Bellagio water fountain show was set up for us. Blake, our waiter extraordinaire, took incredibly good care of us: special small appetizers, recommendations regarding the menu and wine (all perfect), impecable and perfectly timed service by all staff, professionalism with a sense of humor ....and fabulous food from the first to the last bite. After a 5 course "Degustation" menu, we were treated to complimentary chocolates and biscuits. It was the perfect wedding dinner for two. We can't wait to go back. Thank you!3/24/2013 12:00:00 AMClass for a Romantic BirthdayIt was an amazing experience to have celebrated my girlfriend's 21st birthday with such class. Perfect romantic setting to give her a Tiffany's gift with the Bellagio water show just outside our window seats and the sunset sky. The restaurant was able to accommodate my request for a small birthday cake desert with a candle so she could have a birthday wish. Our server was extremely helpful in selecting course items and socially sophisticated. Staff was extremely prompt and at your service. My only issue was that although it was a 300 dollar meal, I still managed to get a fish bone in my blackened sea bass. It's alright though, we're all human and everyone's subject to making a mistake at some point. Otherwise, it was a perfect experience.3/24/2013 12:00:00 AMOutstanding Fine DiningClassic and elegant, this restaurant provided us with a memorable experience and a meal fit for kings. In fact, it was our best dining experience in recent memory. We were impressed with the interior decoration - vibrant, but tastefully displayed Picasso art did not oppress but added cheer and light. The view of the fountains outside provided additional intrigue and romance to the experience. I cannot say enough about the outstanding customer service - becoming a rarity these days even in luxury markets - our wait staff made our evening what it was, magical and enchanting. Their genuine care and hospitality were much appreciated. I would recommend this restaurant for very special romantic occasions and for lovers of fine European cuisine.3/21/2013 12:00:00 AMWe are in LV for 6 days andWe are in LV for 6 days and want to go back for a 2nd dinner. We usually pick a spot only for the food, we had dinner on the terrace, the service and view of the foutains were as great as our meal3/21/2013 12:00:00 AMWhat an amazing evening! We booked a late weeknight reservation, and were seated outside next to the Bellagio fountains. How much better can it get?? The food was amazing and the wine list truly impressive. We did the black truffle menu - a bit expensive but definitely an adventure for this unique Las Vegas experience. The food was amazing, the service was perfect and the experience was five-star.3/20/2013 12:00:00 AMTrascendent! This was our 3rd time dining at Picasso. It was, as the times before, transcendent and wonderful. The interior of the restaurant is very pretty and serene. The decor and floral arrangements are tastefully arranged to complement the works of art. The staff is intelligently attentive, making the whole experience pleasant. The food is amazing! Interesting, tasty, and perfectly prepared. My husband and I enjoyed our tasting menu choices, especially the fois gras paired with rhubarb sauce and a sweet wine from Hungary. I particularly enjoyed the fallow deer medallions. Perfectly prepared! The best venison experience I have ever had!3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMYearn to Dine at Picasso again!Picasso was extraordinarily delightful. Our waiter was respectful, encouraging and right there when we needed him. Johnnes & Co. Oregon 2007 Pinot Noir a great choice. Price fix menu creative, delicious and inspiring. Loved the fun presentation and service details...reminiscent of the best in Paris, Brussels and Milan. Everything perfectly paced, in harmony with the incomparable enjoyment of the exhilarating fountains and sparkling view. We also felt well taken care of when i accidentally booked the wrong evening. Brilliant and classy response, thanks to the policy of confirming their patrons with a no fault attitude. I yearn to do it all again!3/15/2013 12:00:00 AMWe had the opportunity toWe had the opportunity to visit Picasso one night after visiting Sage and while the prices and food quality are comparable, the service, portion sizes and atmosphere at Picasso are far superior. My wife always asks for their vegetarian menu and her anticipation of dining at Picasso rivals that of her going to the casino. You can't get much higher praise than that.3/13/2013 12:00:00 AM
