Highly regarded in the area as a social event venue, the Hyatt Lodge showcases their service and culinary skills in an intimate restaurant setting with… Piazza. Rennovated in 2004, Piazza is surrounded by both artwork cases showcasing some of McDonald's corporate art collection, as well as a wine display featuring some of the bottles from the restaurant's Italian wine list. Featuring Mediterranean ingredients, the menu features interesting twists on mainly Southern Italian standards. "I surprised my husband on his birthday and took him there to dinner. The food was amazing. Our waiter was absolutely awesome! He & another staff member even surprised my husband with a cake and candle complete with a birthday song without me telling him! It was our first adult dinner out with friends & the first time away from our 13 month old & one month old. We all had a great time and would definitely go back and would also recommend this place to our friends and family. :)"

"The prawns (appetizer) were excellent and the sea bass with orange glaze was the best I ever had. We had a 5 PM seating so got there before it started getting busy around 6:30. We had a window view over the lake which I would image would be very pleasant in the spring, but we were there on a colder March day that was very overcast. There service was very good. I would recommend this for a special evening. Everything is ala-carte so plan accordingly. You can see a menu on-line. Allow $60-75 (Incl tax and tip) per person. This included 2 drinks, two appetizers, 1 salad, 2 entrees and a shared dessert. All in all I felt that it was an excellent value for that special occation."

"this restaurant is part of the hotel, and situated deep within it, so it was not easy to find. The food was good, and service was OK, seemed a little slow at the end, but that could have been because we were with a toddler who was ready to go."
