We have been to this restaurant several times over the last month or two. I have to say was usually are very happy with everything but that was not the case this time. Our appetizer (Fritti mozzarella) were dry and crumbly on the outside - not crispy like in the past. We had one dinner that had to be returned because the pasta was under cooked and the two patrons that had the meatballs both said they were hard and dry. Not sure what the problem was on this visit but not up to the usual quality we have had in the past.

We enjoy going to Piazza's and the food is always good. However, twice this year our bill has been wrong...this time we were overcharged...a ziti dish was supposed to be $9.99 and we were charged $11.99. We informed the waiter who mentioned that they were still getting used to the new menu.
My husband also pointed out that the spaghetti dinner was $9.99 but if you chose the make your own pasta and meatballs it added up to $10.98..again the new menu was given as the reason.

We appreciated the calm atmosphere and attractive decor. Everyone loved the calamari and there was enough to share among 4 of us. Pasta dishes and salads were good.

We live in Dahlonega and have been going to Piazza's there for years. We got a coupon for the one in Dawsonville, had heard good things so we tried it. The first time it was really good, the second time we noticed they had raised all the prices and the waitress confirmed that was due to all the coupons being used. We tried it a third time...it was mostly good..my complaint was my dinner - I had chicken with sun dried tomatoes and pesto. The dish was swimming in oil in the bottom. I love oil on pasta but just to moisten it...I am not a fan of a bowl full of oil.
