Piazza D'Angelo is a family run business with a long history. In 1980, two brothers from the southern toe of Italy moved to Marin with dreams of opening an authentic Italian restaurant. "We had a pizza for an appetizer, then shared a couple entrees. DELICIOUS all the way around. Service was terrific. If you don't like an energetic, loud environment, be sure to ask for one of the back rooms. We sat in the outdoor space with heaters and plastic roll down walls. Quiet and cozy."

"Our group of seven was seated together, at a round table, as requested. Our own regret was that we had just been at Marin Theatre Company's performance of Othello and did not realize there was an ad in the program that would have saved us 10% of our substantial bill there.
The ad is small and I'm not sure how it would be noticed unless the program was read carefully afterward, which one of our people did once she got home. The food and wine at Piazza D'Angelo is quite good, but, since everything is separate, it all adds up to quite a bit of money."

"We were a party of six, it was a lovely setting especailly as it was a rainy night and we were sat by the fire place, very cozy. Had relatives from out of town, loved the veal dish, the pizza, fish stew, everything was enjoyable."

"Ravioli squash was all dough and minmal butternut squash filling and sauce was so-so.............noise level very high........sat in a booth and had to yell to each other....not a great place for celebrating birthdays...........they do nothing special for you!"
