Piazza D'AngeloMother's DayPerhaps not the best choice on Mothers Day. The restaurant was packed, very loud and warm. Which I didn't mind. Thank you to our great server and assistants. We had to track someone down for the wine list, ie the hostess. The food was good, but my pizza came late after everyone entrees. To the point where I had to say please eat don't wait for me. Our server caught this and fixed it right away.
I think the entrees could work on presentation. They looked like they could use a little garnish or something besides piling noodles and sauce on a plate. The food is excellent and the ambiance lovely. When you sit towards the back of the restaurant, the atmosphere is quiet and conversation is easy. We had a baby with us, and we like the fact that the tables are far enough apart that no one is disturbed. The baby liked it, too, because of the pleasant atmosphere, and it wasn't too loud.
