Piatti - Santa ClaraCaptive Audience?The upside and perhaps downside to this spot is that it's the only game in town for the most part so they have a captive audience. That said, the service is always incredibly attentive and accommodating even when the place is packed (which in Santa Clara is any given night during the work week). The food is creative at times with my last visit's experience being a seared ahi with quinoa and fennel pollen. Good, but a touch bland. Oh, and also they have this vanilla buddino that is just the best dessert I've ever had. Seriously. It's gluten-free and such a treat.
