  • "I went to take customers to dinner, their advice because they're local, due to it's lower noise level. Very pretty place, interesting moderately priced menu. Good cocktails, wine list a llittle thin but OK. they also have two rooms for groups or private parties that are very pretty. In one, a long room that's glassed in behind the bar, a gathering was painting and drinking wine-what a great idea! I'd recommend this place for lots of occasions."

  • "I was excited to try this restaurant because it was highly recommended and had relatively good reviews. I was visiting California for a business trip and took my Fiancés parents there. However, I was not impressed with the food. I had the "Crispy Skin Half Chicken,Bacon,Sun Chokes,Brussels Sprouts,Herb Pan Jus" which was on the dinner menu. The dish was extremely salty and had absolutely no flavor. I had about half and was not even able to finish it. The waitress noted that this was the best dish on the menu and the most popular. I would not recommend this dish."

  • "This was my first time dining at Piatti. This place was chosen to celebrate a friend's birthday. The restaurant provided us menus with "Happy Birthday Sean" at the top for a special and personalized touch. The service was attentive without being cloying. And the food....divine. From the calamari starter with the fried lemon pieces and fennel to the papardelle with five-day bolognese, my taste buds were on overdrive. The olive oil cake was a little lackluster, but overall, the evening was delicious, and I would definitely go back."

  • "My companion and I had dinner that went perfectly. The staff was very helpful in selecting from the menu and selecting something from the bar. My companion's ravioli was made with the pasta component so very thin, it was translucent with the interior seen in it's colorful glory. Served on a white plate it looked something like dining in a Star Trek Utopian cultured society. My tasty roast chicken was on a bed of the best tasting Brussels sprouts I have ever had. The staff was helpful with good timing, not pushy, I felt well taken care of. I have been here before and will be again, always a pleasure to dine here."

Wait staff never came back to ask if we wanted another glass of wine until way after we finished our meal. Note to management: On busy nights, you need to have more available wait staff."

  • "We were greeted warmly and promptly seated at a nice table by the windows. Our waiter was well versed on the menu options and very attentive. We started with the wood oven olives which were a very special treat while we discussed the wine and menu options. While the menu contained many equally enticing and unique offerings all three of us ordered the butternut squash ravioli, (which was only recently returned to Piatti's menu) and we were not disappointed!! Wonderful flavor and presentation. The pomegranates garnish provided the perfect blend of sweet and sour. Enjoyed the meal and the evening. Recommend this restaurant to others regularly."

  • "Salads are just OK. A bit pricey for what you get. The Butternut squash Raviolis and Wood Fired Trout were really good. Salmon also was good. Veal just OK. The White Chocolate Chip bread putting and the Nutella Cheesecake were definitely yummy. The Tiramisu was good. Not great. It would have been nice to have a Vanilla Bean Creme Brûlée rather than the tasteless thick pudding/custard fair that was offered. Our server was great and the service was good."

  • "Reservations were made for four ladies, one of whom was recently diagnosed with liver cancer. We wanted the meal, and anything else we do together, to be memorable. We arrived on time and one young man said hello and disappeared. We stood there for several minutes, waiting to be seated. It didn't happen, so we seated ourselves (who needs reservations?)and no tablecloths? We were brought water with some white things floating in them. I don't know the waitress's name but she was very nice and that brought the service rating up considerably for this restaurant. The butternut ravioli were disappointing and the pizza was so-so, according to two of the party's members. The bill was extraordinarily high for what we received."

  • "While our service was extraordinary, the food was, at best, just "okay." The menu had a strange contstruction to it, in retrospect. Best way for me to explain it would be to say things just didn't "flow together;" guess the word would be "haphazard." Tried it with two other friends for a birthday lunch and had hoped to get steered back for a subsequent dinner with hubby. that's not likely to happen anytime soon. One point in the menu's favor is that pasta dishes are offered in two sizes--small and full entree size. That is a big plus to me. I'm kind of sorry it didn't meet my expectations, as we are in that neighborhood 2-3 times a month."

  • "I went to Piatti's recently on a 5th date on a Wednesday evening because I wanted a romantic environment with great food and wine that would not be too dark or too noisy, while still having a "vibe". Piatti's delivered. The service was great. I arrived before my date and was seated. When my date arrived she was escorted to my table immediately without confusion. The food was for the most part excellent. The olive appetizer, while a bit too large for just two people, was delicious. I had the crispy skin chicken. It was moist, skin crispy, but a bit over-salted. The brussel sprouts that came with it were fantastic. My date had the spinach ricotta ravioli, which was also great. I recommend Piatti's!"

  • "The ambiance seemed initially romantic however being escorted to rear of the dining room the mood lighting gave way to harsh lighting from the open kitchen. The window seats along a bustling FO Blvd there should have be a barrier of sorts between traffic and dining.The waiter was informative and attentive, and was not lacking for chit-chat. Rustic Italian classics but fine dining prices.The waiter was quick to explain that much of the menu was handmade in-house, including the pastas, and even the menu boasts the number of hours taken to prepare the Bolognese.I had the Pappardelle Bolognese and it was very good. One could easily imagine this menu in a small neighborhood Italian restaurant and paying half the price for almost every item."
