"I was unable to finish my note below because it only let me have some many words. The hostess was very bad. We reserved a table and we weren't happy with the table by the door so asked for another. She told us we would have to wait another 1/2 hour because "everyone in the restaurant had only just got there appetizers!" therefore no tables would open up for awhile. She was serious though after looking around it was certainly absurd. We waited the 1/2 and she got us a table finally."

"The restaurant was closed for remodeling for weeks but it looked exactly the same and it is still one of the loudest restaurants around. The only things remodeled were the prices. Dinner for 4 (2 adults, 2 teens)- no starters or booze - for over $140 with tip? My wife only had a salad topped with chicken! Have to give Piatti props for having a gluten free menu, but it never changes and the server did not know if the specials were gf. Piatti in Danville used to be a "go to" place to take the family. That seems to be changing in my opinion. Too pricey for the basic Italian food and too loud, unless last Thursday was "Raucous Aging Realtor Nite"."

"This has been my favorite local restaurant for years but has been disappointing on my last 3 visits. Seems to be ever since the remodel and new menu...............Perfect example of "if it ain't broke don't fix it"."
